Draping is a very inaccurate and unscientific way to analyze someone, just like following emotions. This leads to generic and flawed results. Some people are OK with that. I wasn't, and thus, I developed a more accurate system because I knew I could. The purpose of this channel is to show you the results of my method and not necessarily teach you the method (which I will do in the Ray Color Analysis Program). I hope this clarifies things.

it is not my opinion but based on scientific research. You can disagree with science all you want but it doesn´t make it wrong. In the end, all that matters are the results which speak for itself in case of my method.

Thank you! If it is a Wardrobe Palette, I can provide one now, depending on what color you are using to cover the grey. This palette will be aligned with your colored hair (if the color is aligned with you). If the hair color is not aligned, you can get a Hair Color Palette and I can tailor the palette to just one color and reduce the price for you. Once you start going natural grey, I can check whether your colors would significantly change (they oftentimes do), and then you can decide to get an upgraded palette (you will save 20% on the upgrade). I agree with a lot of your insights and thought the same way as you at first until I accepted that the seasonal names were metaphors to describe something that was not describable yet scientifically. The different melanins (eumelanin and pheomelanin) are not common knowledge yet, and very few understand that these are scientifically measurable and determine whether one is perceived to be either warm, cool, or neutral. Most of all, I agree there are no such things as undertones. The overarching goal of seasonal analysis is to optimize how one is perceived by others, and we only perceive long, medium, and short wavelengths of light and it doesn't matter how they are generated.

the idea of warm, cool, and neutral is a result of brainwashing or a lack of better understanding the biology of color types. I don´t blame those who tried to describe it. And now that we know so much more it is only natural to upgrade all our systems. All skintones are warm because they are in the red to yellow spectrum which is scientifically a warm spectrum. There are no cool color types, and no neutral ones. These two concepts are scientifically impossible when we speak about human color types. The only exception for someone to be cool is when they exhibit a condition called cyanosis with their skin appearing blue.

@@ellaraystyle I agree with what you're saying, and I prefer to refer to "cooler" and "warmer" skin tones. When light reflects off people, it stimulates cones in the back of your eyes. They're commonly called red, green, and blue, but they're actually long, medium, and short wavelengths in the perceivable light spectrum. And they're measurable, which is nice. Our brains combine equal amounts of the red, green, and blue to form a base level of luminance. Since red is always greater than green and green is always greater than blue, the blue is gone and we're left with a mixture of red and green. The green light will bind with the red light to form yellow, and we're left with some residual red. If there is more yellow than red, we perceive those people to have a golden quality, commonly called warm. If there is more red, those people are more pinkish, and commonly said to be cool. If the red and yellow are equal, they are neither warm or cool, and therefore neutral. This occurs at hue angle 20 degrees.

I recommend thinking of skintones as only warm. Because this is what´s most accurate. I also recommend looking into human color harmony vs seasonal color harmony/color theory which is very much flawed recommending warm colors to warm undertones and cool colors to cool undertones. It is not only scientifically baseless but also creates the greatest amount of dissonance for all color types, not only when it comes to hue, but also chroma, depth, and contrast.

I would have to conduct an analysis to find out. I do celebrity makeover videos and could add her to the request list if you want.

@@ellaraystyle One thing I relate to most, is when you talk about having one of the rarest colour types, I think I am the same. multi-chroma. Thank you for teaching about that. I spent my life looking dead and grey, and feeling like an alien, noticing the clear difference in colour between me and all my peers. but I could never put a finger on it. My skin is translucent pale white and it reflects all the colours of the rainbow up close, only in the sun, and my hair is dark dark dark brown, and in the sunshine I see magenta, deep green, blue and yellow pigments reflecting. My eyes are yellow with muted greyish green on the outside rim, with brown in the center, just like your eyes. After all your videos I think I might possibly be Bright true blue ... and then sometimes I think my colour root is yellow. I just can't tell. it is so hard to tell. Also, I love what you said, I too feel like crying when I hear the Scottish accent, and when I talk to myself or to my cat sometimes I use the accent and if feel like home on my tongue. Not everyone who has a yellow looking skin is olive, aka Yellow Root Skin Color. Color types within the Orange Root family can also have yellow in their skin.

I follow human color harmony laws that I discovered through my decade-long scientific research in physics, biology, medicine, and more, not paint rules (how a color is mixed with paint). One of the aspects of human color harmony is how your skin interacts with the visible light spectrum: which frequencies/wavelengths (colors) are being reflected, absorbed, and scattered in relation to the biology/melanin mix in your skin.

Brown spectrum is between Red and Orange while blond hair spectrum is between orange and yellow. Your description alone doesn´t put someone into any particular color type (Root Skin Color) category as they could be literally any of those three (Red, Orange, or Yellow). Only a precise color analysis with a proper analysis image would reveal their color type. 🌺

The ETA depends on the palette (3, 12, or 48). Color Palette 48 currently is delivered within 30 days. It also depends on the complexity of the client's color type (everyone is unique). There is a waiting list, so people have to wait a bit longer than usual (more than a month). Custom palettes are in high demand. I am providing a custom palette queue in the community chat inside the Raystudio App that shows who is on the waiting list and whose palette is currently being produced. The list is updated regularly. All colors can be found in stores as I am following the accessibility of colors and not only the color type. Otherwise, I would have 1 billion colors in my Color Library, but I have reduced it to around 4500. Compared to that, Pantone has 5000 colors across different niches. Of course, it will depend on the garment, brand, season, etc. as colors change every season. You may not be able to get all colors at once in one store, but over time. Building an aligned and long-lasting wardrobe takes time no matter where you get the colors from. I am actively working toward accessibility of all colors through my work, spreading the word helps designers and brands create aligned color palettes for real people. So, sharing my videos will help with that. Once I am ready to start my own fashion line, I will definitely partner with a designer. Since I have experience in fashion design, it will be easier to design beautiful and aligned garments (in the right colors) in collaboration with another designer. Yes, I named every single color for easy recognition and connection to nature and health. 🌺
