Starting with my new Kyma sound, 'One Wave', it takes one wavetable, which drives the Oscillator shape, Amplitude Envelope Shape, Filter LFO Shape, and is also waveshaping the resonance loop. Interpolating between and modulating seven different effects in Kyma, using the Geiger Counter to trigger the events, and feed values based upon the ping time into the effects parameters. You can get PCI Express USB sockets, why not get a bigger expansion enclosure and fit some in?
What if they keyboard doesn't switch on after showing battery low? How long can I use a K2000 with a "battery low" pop up message.
What do you mean? Is the display empty? Or does no sound come out of the instrument? You may try to see if you can make some sound by plugin another keyboard's midi out in the midi in of your Kurzweil, and play with the other keyboard.

It is mounted to the back of the case behind the rails, it is not a module, but rather a long board. I forgot which, I will look and let you know.

hey how did you build that SampleRate sound? I tried passing a sample to the sample and hold prototype - with hold formula [ (1/!SR) s ] and it's very noisy even at 44100
turns out that I restarted the audio driver and it works as advertised🤦♂

I have the Mac Desktop version, and I really like it. It is not as ghetto as other MIDI editing apps. I like the way you can organise and name the patches you create. mmmmm, I might have to make some more patches today!! Which instrument(s) are you thinking of editing with it? 🔉🦑🚀

@@frequencymanipulator I ended up using insight into digital performer on a track set to monitor the input from Kyma. It works but I still wish there was a standalone version of insight.

I'm curious how this works!
It is a bit of trickery, really. So, you make a one oscillator patch, setup all the modulation, get it just how you like it. Then, you save copies of the same program, but only add oscillators, and tune them to chords. So patch A: Maj, B: Min, C: 7th etc. You have three notes (oscillators) to makeup a chord. You then play a monophonic line, but send a program change from the sequencer to change to the preset with your desired chord shape! Silly, it's time-consuming, but it works! Hope that makes some sense.

🦑 Actually, it is just scratching the surface. It is a bit bonkers. You think the parameters don't do much, but then if you slowly traverse between combinations it does bonkers stuff.
