      @@drewbarton1100 Yes while true the screw/nail fastener will go through the tape it will surround it and still create a decent seal. The main pain points typically are the gaps between boards that heavily get worn from moisture and the elements, and with the tape the water doesn't sit on top and decay the board 🛠️

    I have used miter saws for 20 years and have owned several and different brands ...my wife bought me this same saw for xmas and I just unboxed and used it yesterday August 16th 2024...I think it was a good saw but I have 2 gripes ...1st I do not like the shield guard being black..I like to see where my cut line and my blade is at all times...so I found myself awkwardly using my trigger hand thumb to lift the guard which is sketchy as hell and outright dangerous....2nd I didn't realize that the left fence was movable and already locked into place so when I went to do my 45 degree bevel I chopped right through it and thankfully it was aluminum and didn't send shards of steel blade or fence into my face or body...other than that it's a nice saw

They're 15.4 inches tall and there's only 14.5 inches between shelves. They're 16.9 inches wide, so two side-by-side are 33.8 inches, and you said there's only 33 inches across for totes.

    • @TheEclecticHandyman
      @TheEclecticHandyman 29 дней назад

      @@dodgers9302 The reason I didn't use a spacer is because this is pressure treated lumber that's still wet, and as it dries it will shrink up to 1/2" give or take. Wet boards should be laid up against each other and as they dry, the gap occurs naturally. If you're using kiln dried wood, then you'd want to use spacers. Thanks for watching! 🛠️
