Interesting update as always. 😊

Your welcome 😊
Do you not fill your combine tank with diesel when you put it away for the winter, could condensation gather in the tank?
No we leave it low, not unduly worried about condensation with it being a plastic tank.
Okay, thanks for the reply.
Brilliant video again, best way to keep the water getting away
Thanks 😊
Great video Again thanks Sean for wexford Ireland 🇮🇪 👍
Thanks, Glad you enjoyed it 😊
Another great video Simon😊

A high tech tennis ball, good idea, I wonder what that added to the price of the machine. Happy new year Simon.
It was a home made mod the tennis ball😂 Happy New Year.

Takes me back in time sugar beet lifting Hand pulling and loading into cart to take to storage area Then single row Standen harvester modernisation in those days lol On todays monsters that tread lighter on the land than we did with fordson super major and 135 and 3 ton Tye trailer
I can’t remember hand pulling, but certainly the single row standen harvesters. The field’s looked like a bomb site in wet years!
Can you video taken the sugarbeet away please? With a mouse please
Sorry haven’t got any with the Maus, but have some footage of a large cleaner loader and JCB for next week.
What a superb video, well put together and very informative, hope you are able to get some film of the Maus that would be great. As you say, "spot on..yeah" happy new year to you and your family.
Thank you for your kind words, not sure if I will get any footage of the Maus. I have some of a normal cleaner for next week.
@@JDautopower You're welcome, honestly it was a thoroughly enjoyable video, i have watched a couple of times since. I run a farm sim RUclips channel, so appreciate how hard it is to get the video's just right, i would perhaps like to, in the future, do a series based upon your farm with your machinery its never been done before but it might be something interesting to think about. Take care and all the best.
Very interesting that
Thanks 😊
Another fantastic video 📹 mr English uk guy 🇬🇧 like wise to your self on the new year 😢thank god Christmas 🎄 an new year gone most borning time off year and too much off family around 😀 kind regards Mr valtra South Ireland 🇮🇪
Thank you Mr Valtra South Ireland 🇮🇪. We are back at it on Monday 😊
Great, thanks. I thought it would be, not enough chalk for it to be the Yorkshire Wolds!
Great video, very informative. You mention wolds soil, I'd assume the Lincolnshire Wolds, or the Yorkshire Wolds? Hard to tell from over here in Ontario😊
Thank you 😊. It’s the Lincolnshire Wolds what he was lifting on.
Tutty doesn’t get any better looking
I couldn’t possibly comment 😂
Brilliant video again, hope you had a good Christmas and new year break 😀
Thanks 😊 yes ready to crack on now!
Happy New Year, appreciate your commitment for us. Question:- How many kilo bags of sugar do you get from a ton of beet and how many tons per acre and approximately how many tons in that heap? Don't say, a lot lol.
1ton of beet produces approximately 150 1 kg bags of sugar. Yield wise growers are aiming for 100 plus t/ha , about 40.5t/acre. And you’re right a lot of tons in that heap! 😂😂Couldn’t honestly say as it’s not our heap and I don’t know how many acres were in it.
@@JDautopower thanks for that. A lot of waste by-product per ton then which I assume becomes animal feed. Never thought about it before and didn't watch Wardy's sugar beet factory visit. I'll give that a watch. I'll guess that there must be 2500 to 3000 tons in that heap.
Great video Again thanks and very happy new year to you and family Sean from wexford Ireland 👍 🇮🇪
Happy new year Thanks 😊
Great Video 👍
Thanks 😊
Great video did u guys grow beat on the farm u work on in past years ?.

Hiya Simon Happy New Year to you all hope it’s a good year for you another brilliant video of the suger beet lifting brings back memories Keep up the good work best wishes Paul

That must take a couple of weeks to clean after the sugar season is finished
@@samherbert1724 yes I would not want the job 🤣🤣
Good video 👍 . Happy new year.
@christopherbignell3342 Thank you 😊
Good informative video, always keep thinking the augar in machine at top would damage beet.some machine
@@GRS1903 Thanks. You would think it would damage beet but it seems quite gentle on it.
Excellent update thank you Simon. Happy New Year!
@@andykeeble1 Thanks 😊.
Hi, good video
@@AdrianRead-x4t thanks 😊
Interesting and thorough review. Looks good tractor but prefer the green ones. 👌
Lighter shade or darker shade of green? 😂
@JDautopower Fendt, Drove a new 310 then upgraded to a 311, certainly well before there time all those years ago.
@@PeterGunton agreed on the Fendts being before there time, and being better.
pity you didn't show us where the air & cab filters are & ease of getting to them to blow them out. Also how easy is it to get to the dip stick, does the mud guard pull back or is access from the front of the machine. Does the seat swivel round in both directions? Does it have a fridge in it?. I did like the tool box & storage compartments. All these electrics are fine when working but very expensive when they go wrong as I know only to well, it doesn't matter what colour machine it is
Yes probably should have done more on the maintenance side. As I said on another comment a good comprehensive warranty is a must on a modern high tech tractor, with good dealer backup for peace of mind and fixed running costs.
It has a small cool box on the left hand side if I remember and the seat did swivel both ways.
how does the case compare with the fendf?
It compares very well to be honest. But for me the Fendt is still in front of it.
Would it be in front if you had to buy it with your money??? The £ difference is considerable and can’t be ignored in this new age of farming without subsidies.
@@VictoriaHelen1972fair comment, you might be right and I would chose the Case, but in my opinion, for the purpose of review, the Fendt is a better tractor, but I’m certainly not knocking the Case.
Would you have it over a Fendt? I've got a 728 but was impressed with the quality of the case 260 shame i didn't get a demo to see what the fuel usage was like.
@@Farmer_phil without wanting to upset anyone, I personally prefer the Fendt, nothing comes close to the engine/gearbox interaction and other things, but the case is a good tractor and ticks a lot of boxes as I said in the review.
@ That’s good to hear, had fendts for 20 years now and swapped the 724 gen 6 for the 728 and it’s amazed me how much better than the 724 it is, the price is the worrying part now!
@ yes they certainly aren’t cheap tractors! But build quality is high and should last many years if serviced properly.
Good look round the Case, honestly can’t get over all these settings 😂 there all the same, nice looking tractor though , a better grade of new Holland
Thanks😊
Far to much technical now maybe best to get back to the old days ,happy new year
You certainly need a laptop to help service/fix them. Happy New Year.
