The village of Bayville on the north shore of Long Island is one of few places that collects regular trash and bulky items separately. This Peterbilt 520 EZ-Pack goliath is a departure from the usual mcneilus rear loaders that do nighttime commercial in New York City, and I think this truck handled it well. So how come they collect this way instead of with FEL units?
If u have been to this area u would understand that bag piles and rear loaders r a lot easier/convenient than dumpsters and FELs. They do have FELs and dumpsters but a lot of places just opt for this instead

If I remember correctly they had international workstars with Leach 2R-III,Heil powertrak, and Durapack split bodies. Idk what they have now maybe I’ll drive there it’s been awhile been watching DSNY for almost a decade now. It would be wonderful if u film them tan trucks bring back some childhood memories

do people pay special for these pickups that are not normal weekly trash can garbage?. we don't have this kind of trash truck here,, just robot arm trucks.. we just have to take that stuff to a landfill,
No it’s free, basically take-all collection but bulk separate from regular trash
