Are you counting your calories? If you are not, you should. Don't overcomplicate weight loss, its basically eating at a calorie deficit so less calories than your maintenance and the bigger the deficit is, the faster you will lose weight. Everything you put in your mouth needs to be counted, that's the only way to have a steady weight loss. Its going to suck but you need to stop eating out on the weekends, that should be something you do once a month more like. You are basically adding all the calories you cut out during the week back into your body and its not taking you anywhere. Also cut out sugar completely, if you crave sugar eat some yogurt and berries. Weight loss doesn't need to be hell but it requires some discipline and its hard in the beginning so don't be sad because you'll get there. =)
Thanks for the tips!❤️ Yes definitely I agree with you 100%, weight loss is truly simple, if you follow everything you said you loose it all easy and pretty quickly. What complicates it is the mindset. Building a strong mentality and discipline is important in order for you to ignore your body signaling you to eat. Especially when you are overweight your body is going to fight against you to continue consuming the same amount of calories to maintain the current body weight. So that’s where controlling hunger and suppressing the addictions to unhealthy food comes into bite you in the butt 😆. But that’s why I’m documenting my experience so people who do struggle in this area of their life don’t feel alone, and we can break the cycle of weak mentality and get back up even if we fail several times until we reach our goal ❤️

Next time try to put the piece of watermelon down on the cutting board before cutting the skin off, so you don't accidentally slice your hand open! Also, a smaller knife might be easier but that depends on preference. Anyways, looks really refreshing!
Yes you’re right it’s better to do it on the cutting board! I completely forgot until I was about to drop in my watermelon so I just quickly did it in the bowl 😅 thanks!
One thing I've done with my food noise is to have healthy snacks on hand like Greek yogurt or something like rice cakes that are low calorie. Could even have hard-boiled eggs so that it isn't too bad. I also like to have fruit smoothies with chia seeds. Chia seeds can help you feel full longer. Maybe meal prepping breakfast would also help if you have the time to do it. I'm also on a journey for weight loss, and I've only lost like half a pound in 2 months. The journey is hard, but it's worth it

Yeah I was thinking of making like Greek yogurt parfait and meal prep them so I can have them either as a quick breakfast, snack or desert at whatever point of the day I feel hungry. Stay positive. Use the measuring tape method instead. It is far less triggering than the scale. I measure my neck, biceps, smallest part of my waist, above my knee, my upper thigh and then hips. Try to measure every few days and notate the measurements to keep track. This is motivational!! 😊

Thanks!❤️ well during the week I’m able to manage more of keeping it clean, but I built the habit of not waiting to pick things up until later or before bed time because I end up not doing it 😅. So just cleaning in the moment after you use something, weather it be making your bed right after you wake up or cleaning up the kitchen while your cooking and just putting everything in its place anytime I have a spare moment. Also keeping my home more simple like not having too much decor pieces or furniture or hoarding things we may not need, it gives you less things to clean and pick up. I’m also not productive if my house is not clean so keeping it clean is a big motivation for me to not fall into being lazy lol. I don’t deep clean everyday I just do that 1-2 times a month, but I keep everything picked up for the rest of the time. I hope this helps😄

Yes you will be amazed how many inches you will lose vs lbs. Measuring tape will be your best friend, always helps me. I can tell you are losing already, regardless of what the scale will say there is a noticeable difference from when you started to now, great job and great motivation 👏🏽💪🏽

I appreciate your honesty. I had a “bad” week when I went on vacation earlier this month and I felt so bad about myself! I hit the reset button on my eating and working out again and the weight i gained came right off. All you have to do is start and then keep going!

Yeah I get you, homemade will always have a slightly different taste than the fast food, but that’s because the processed food has added sugar, salt and preservatives to keep it fresh longer and make it tastier. It will be a lot healthier and less expensive homemade though and it does satisfy the craving!😊

Im sure you can make it in the blender too! After you blend the ingredients you can pass it through a strainer so that you can get more of a juice than a smoothie consistency 😊
