Baby lambs are so cute. Momma still looks big.
Yes, she was a twin so we hoped she would have twins.
Always Love to see your videos! I grew up on a 100 acre farm in Upstate NY. My Dad was born on the property & we raised all our own meat & produce! Grace is too cute!🙏🙏🙏Blessing’s
Yes! I have to be careful not to fill up all the videos with lamb footage, LOL
Thanks for the video! I wonder if you can explain the reason of this “Project”. Are these families homes being constructed on your property? 🙏🙏🙏Blessing’s
Yes! Caleb is my son and Claire is my daughter. He’s getting married in a month. Claires home will be a trendy tiny house. I might call it a project because I have never ending projects. We do hope that like-minded families would move to our immediate area. And if the world falls apart we are prepared to be a close community on our property and the surrounding land.
@@thegarnerfamilyfarmproject1748 Love this! I am not sure where your located but is a lot of land available near you?
Yes, a fair amount of land. Some very close. When I say like-minded, I mean believers. And our community is for lack of a better description, “Torah Observant”. We don’t work on the Sabbath (Saturday) and we observe Biblical holidays. At the same time, we see ALL believers in Jesus as Brothers and Sisters in the Messiah.
Oh, we are about 20 minutes south of Morganton, North Carolina
I'm sure there are a lot of folks who would love to have that car. It will take a lot of hard work to get it back in shape and running,. Make sure to document the journey.
Absolutely, We'll be checking in on Caleb as he goes along but it will probably be a slow restoration! He's getting married soon :)
@@thegarnerfamilyfarmproject1748 Congratulations to him.
Glad you are safe! I think you are the first person I've seen that has posted from their experience that has solar. I wonder if it's something thats prohibative to some due to forest canopy coverage / being on the side of a mountain?
It does need to face south but there are many open areas in the mountains that would have a good southern view. I see solar on houses a lot! Many systems don’t have batteries but are made to sell power back to the grid. In those cases people wouldn’t be able to use the power for themselves.
Just like... if you mortgaged or bank loan your property and cabin or house... you do not own it, the bank institution you drawn the loans from owns it. This means if you suddenly can't pay the institution the arranged monthly payments.. They will come and evict you. They won't care if there is a national disaster or war... they won't care, they will get you off their property. That is how this system works people. Two important things to really think hard about, not being on public utilities and owning all your property.. Not rent to own from a bank through a loan or mortgage.
Yes! Be debt free for everyone that can!!
If you have electricity from a city infrastructure, a monthly bill from the power company... you are not off grid. That is the definitive line of calling yourself off grid. It means not being on any sort of city, taxed, public utilities. If there was a power outage... that is not an issue with you, you are harnessing your own energy and don't pay the power companies. You all who want to be a off grid homestead.. Need to understand this... you don't rely on city public utilities. You can not claim you are off grid when you are plugged in to the country electric company. It's that definitive simple.
While the power was off, I was off-grid.
Im asking every channel to entreat and ask for an INTERVIEW with TRUMP!!! If every Grass Roots Journalist contacts him, he could get so much more info out! Save WE THE PEOPLE
I’m glad to have your message on our comments :)
Thanks go God you all are surviving. Your updates will help us all so much, prayers are with You & your Family!
Thank you so much!
😭😭🙏🙏💔💔
Thank you! Pray for Asheville and the mountain areas!
I love how you talk about the trees we only have 5 acres but the trees make the property and are so special. Sending love
Thank you! I’ve always loved large hardwood trees! I believe they have a simple spirit and I see them have feelings and communication in Biblical references.
@@thegarnerfamilyfarmproject1748 I totally agree! I do a lot of work with elementals in the forest next to my house. Animals, trees, and stone/crystal medicine. The relationships you can develop with them bring so much joy. So cool!!
God has been revealing a lot to us about energy this past year. We are beginning to learn about the Aleph Tav Body system taught by Dr Alphonso Monzo. Working on removing congestion and allowing the body’s energy to flow properly. Also, we have begun to use Biodynamics to spread good energy across our property to help the microbiotics. I do gather some pretty pieces of quartz sometimes and put it near our structured water or near some plants but haven’t had time to learn about crystals. Maybe some year, lol
New sub here from Wisconsin. 🙏🏻
Thank you so much for joining us!
Those are some good batteries those are or the guy that has the pattent on those batteries lives about 20 miles from my house
Really cool! The guy that put together, our system really knew what he was doing He is engineer775 on RUclips
I am a new subscriber. I found your video's very thorough and you let everybody know the status of your area. I'm from Western Canada and have been following these storms. My prayers to you all.
Thank you so much for joining us! And thank you for your prayers for the people here !

Thank you what a blessing!
Beautiful place y’all have there - glad you’re doing okay! (Laura - NW FL)
This is a beautiful and peaceful place! We are extremely blessed that our path was laid out to arrive here!
Ask Siri what caused the hurricane..YOUR JAW WILL DROP...
She's giving answers from wikipedia.
take the 100 yr old oak tree and make a table out of it
That's a Great Idea! I'll probably just cut it into firewood but I will keep this in mind. The only place I need a table right now is in the loft, maybe a 3x3 table
You must have been a teacher , That Area Need a Brother Like you . I hope they let You teach Um . Solar better garden . All Because of a Great Wife GOD BLESS

I Thank the Lord Daily for His Amazing Blessings!
Another hurricane coming in. Since the last did an abnormal directional change, prepare incase this reoccurs. Be safe!!!!! Get the word out. Not everyone will have electrity or radios.
Yes, I'm hearing the same! We can't prepare much for damages but we are ready as far as food, water and power. Got the gas cans mostly filled up. We did notice the radios were silent last time. Seems like the repeaters went down. I sure we would have local radio coverage if we needed it but that would only reach families within a mile or so.
Beautiful family and a lovely farm. I just subscribed to your channel.
Thank you for Subscribing! My wife calls it the Todd channel but doesn't want to be on the videos. I catcher her in a video occasionally
How bizarre, he's outside coveting his "stuff" instead of distancing themselves from the storm.
lol!! I don’t have to covet my stuff because I already own it Where would I run? Get in a car and hope to survive?
You'll obviously never understand self-sufficient people. THIS guy won't be worried about feeding his family, unlike 1000s, possibly millions, are right now. Take a lesson.
My Husband is a Trucker, locally in the Midwest, not OTR, but we follow RPM fb Trucker pages and FEMA is offering $2/mile for loads for Truckers! It's outlandish. Typically, they'll pay about $7/mi The page says FEMA set the rates super low, because they don't want loads to be coming in... they dont want teucks rolling in with supplies, thats the only reqson in the world they arent paying even a break even rate. Most guys are talking about what it would cost them ABOVE the RPM and its tens of thousands.. You can join these board and read what the common guys, that run stuff for a living and every emergency, we see this... $2/mi is a huge loss of money. Need at least $4/mile to cover expense/some hazard allowance. This is purposeful This is unbelievable
I totally agree!! FEMA should be told to leave
Dude, the NHC warned you for days it was going to be this bad.
Not really in our area. Last I saw it was going to be further west. It was wild here but not as bad as Asheville
Love and Light to you and your family from Canada 🇨🇦 ❤ Sending prayers ❤
Thank you so much!!
Thank you for sharing. I'm in the Midwest, far removed from the locations of this storm. I get better coverage from all the Tubers than from the news. There are prayers being said (here and all over) for all affected by Helene. I volunteer at an "Emergency Relief Organization" called "Orphan Grain Train". An excellent organization folks, if you have a branch near you. Tuesday the 1st we were packing boxes to send via Semi truck to the affected areas. I know it can't get there fast enough. I'm glad you and your family were spared the worst. I never want to experience anything like this, but no one is immune. Our area gets snow and ice that can be quite severe. Orphan Grain Trains focus was food, water, baby formula, diapers, hygiene supplies, cleaning supplies, and feminine products. Godspeed be with you all in this recovery.
Thank you so much! SO MANY like you are doing so much good!
Popped up in my feed…. Glad you’re all doing ok after Helene. Interesting point I’ve picked up from US content makers is that many have mentioned that the acorns are prolific this year. In the UK 🇬🇧 oak trees tend to lose large branches or fall in high winds after they’ve produced a much heavier than usual acorn crop. Like they’re concentrating on seed production. I’ve also noticed here that a mother oak can become weaker a year or two after surrounding young oaks are establishing second year growth. Look out for oak saplings near the fallen oak’s canopy area. Or further afield if forgotten by the squirrels. You might find some to keep or transplant. Silver linings etc
Yes, I love oak trees! I’ll definitely keep some new ones protected to grow
Sounds like the same river Justin rhode showed on his vlog today . Sorry to hear what you guys are going through
Thank you! His area is more mountainous but we are about an hour drive from his area
Glad you’re safe!🙏
Thank you! I’m feeling the love!!
🙏🏼
Thank you so much! If you’re in the Smoky Mountains, I hope you’re doing OK!

1st time viewer, glad you folks are safe. What state are you guys in by the way?
Kind of the foothills of North Carolina not far from Morganton
Not the broccoli!!! Hehe. Glad your ok brother. I don't miss them storms in charleston south carolina. Praying for all of you. God bless brother
Ha, ha!!
@thegarnerfamilyfarmproject1748 if you don't mind keep us up to date on how things are going. Thanks and God Bless
Today is day 4 without power It might be overcast and rainy so we’ll be hoping to get the batteries charged by evening and may not be able to make hot water but we have an outdoor shower that runs on propane. We have plenty of gas for the generator to keep the walk in freezer going. We’re using hotspots on our phones for internet. It’s strange that we still had Spectrum the first day the power went out but the second day it was off and hasn’t come back yet. Took about an hour and a half to send the last video. I reduced the quality slightly to help it go through.
Got power back this afternoon
@@thegarnerfamilyfarmproject1748 Good brother. Thanks for all the updates. God bless.
hey if i wanted this set up in a small garage connected to a water tank outside how would i drain it out of the shower?
If I’m understanding your question correctly, you would need good water pressure. So if it is coming from a rain barrel it would need to be up high enough to get pressure.
🎉🎉🎉 thanks 🙏
You’re welcome
Its arthritis get in a pool do some dog paddling and bicycling in the water hanging on to the edge will get u past the pain in a few weeks
Thanks for the tip!!
🫡🎉 a lot of progress on the house … 🏡
Thx!
Great work. I heard you say the height between the runs are 4 inches but what is the width between each row so I do not make them too wide for the bottles?
So Sorry it took so long to reply!! 4" high and 4" wide
@@thegarnerfamilyfarmproject1748 Thanks so much!
Sometimes you just have to be patient or keep spares.
Yes, spare internet services, LOL! Covered
@@thegarnerfamilyfarmproject1748 spare parts... Jesus man..
I see that you didn’t catch the depth of what I was saying. Your statement was obvious. I can’t just buy two of everything I own. And I do have spare parts, but we still have no idea what is broken. Starlink is not doing a good job with troubleshooting or customer service or shipping parts so that we can try a new part. I can’t have to satellite dishes because it’s cost prohibitive. Hopefully, you can understand my joke now, L O L
@thegarnerfamilyfarmproject1748 spare cables are fantastic. Get you out of 6 week waits 😉
Love it brother. Place is really coming along fast!! Thanks for sharing. God bless
Thanks for looking in on us!
There all bark no bite i have two pet hognose luckily there mire or less a type of rat snake there not venomous there a constrictor. They become big babies if handled enough.
I agree. I think it would be difficult to get bit.
That's actually a great basic design what we do at venues that u could do is use layers. When that's beat up n boards need replaced do the base going sideways and then a layer vertically over that. That will keep the base and future replacements easier. If u wanna learn competition rules and target sizes just check out watl.
Thanks! I mostly made it for my daughter to enjoy throwing knives and stars. Just a little fun in the backyard
@@thegarnerfamilyfarmproject1748 I dig it but gotta keep it wet so it swells certain woods work better. I work for the Cleveland axe house we use cotton wood swells and self heals well and med soft wood. Otherwise awesome design just wanna save some future headaches. Everyone should know useful skills it's a great stress relief as well as a useful skill so great parenting if I may say. Keep it up if it's a useful skill and makes ppl smile can't ask for more keep it up. To many ppl forget its worth learning skills the right way better to know and never need it then need it and not know.
Great thoughts!! Thanks!
master carpenter for sure
Ha, ha!
Awesome
Thanks!
What is connected to the pipe right at the propane tank? Is that a gauge? To tell how much you have left or how much you’ve used?
That is a regulator that you would find on all propane appliances. But you could find a gauge at Lowe’s or an RV store if you want to monitor how much propane remains.
Use wider boards for your target to make replacement easier.
True! That would make less parts to put together Great idea!
Great idea! I'm gonna use this
Thanks! I hope you’ll like it!
