    can you cut a swept blend with a curved line?

    Thanks for the video. I can’t figure out why my revolve item comes in the drawing at an angle I don’t want. Then I can rotate it the way I need.

    • @ckruse
      @ckruse Год назад

      You should create it in the direction you want - so if the item is upright, when creating it, use an elevation view (front, back etc.)

    Is it possible to modify the sweep path once created?

    • @ckruse
      @ckruse 3 года назад

      Yes - just select the sweep and redraw whichever item you need to change - you can even stretch the path in place if you just need to go a bit longer

    Been trying to create a 3/4 radius the follows path of rectangular sink with 3/4 radius corners but my revit will not make it. I tried creating a profile.

    • @ckruse
      @ckruse 4 года назад

      if the path has 3/4 radius and 3/4 corners Revit thinks the sweep will run into itself so it will not make it - if you try making the corners larger it will work

    Hi, new to revit here. Was wondering why I don't have all those families in my Revit libraries. Where did she get the 'Single-Flush' door for example? I downloaded the Autodesk 2019 library and still...

    Thank you so much for making this to show us that it is possible to construct such structures in Revit! I should say that revit is really not the guy for this job for people who think they can do more than this. The fabric wrinkles and fluffiness are always going to be missing no matter how many long hours you pull for a single pillow or towel.

    Cindy... your instructions are very helpful.. Im a brand new revit user, self learning. how can I find out how to extrude a like your first example, but set an an angle... not horizontal or vertical. can you direct me to a solution?

    • @ckruse
      @ckruse 7 лет назад

      You cannot extrude at an angle. You could do a sweep - have a shape follow a line you draw. Or you can do a blend - for example you can place a square at the base and a square for the top two feet apart and they would blend at an angle - hope that helps. - good luck!
