I did that video awhile ago. I wouldn’t recommend with what’s on the market these days. If you’re looking for a good starter, go with the a1 mini

I bought the updated helmet. The one with the claw damage. I'm printing the non claw damage one. The left eye will not print properly. I've printed it 4 times and in getting lines, almost like steps, in the same place every time.
I used Bambu lab matte Scarlet Red 11200

@@meetsouth this was a while ago now. I just did everything super slow, 5 walls and lightning infill. .4 nozzle

@@Lilhooddreamer super weld super glue. Looking back, I’d probably suggest Velcro

How do you get that good of tree support? Mine keeps failing
@@ThePoseidon211 might be your bed adhesion. Is the print breaking off the tree support or is the tree support breaking? Could always try a different slicer too. I’m just using auto tree supports in Bambu

I want to get a printer for christmas to make this helmet and other stuff. What printer did you use im wondering if the bambu lab p1p would work. It only prints like 256x256x256mm. I also am looking at elegoo neptune 3 or 4 plus which print over 300x300x300mm.
@@mrlizardman I can’t speak on the p1p but I’ve printed several Deadpool’s on the p1s. Same bed size and everything, it just adds the enclosure. The A1 (not the mini) is also able to do it.
@3dprintsthisweek ok thanks. How much room did you have on the print bed for it?
@@mrlizardman it was a tight fit. I was able to get it to 102 percent, I think
@@3dprintsthisweek thanks for the quick reply. Like I said before, would you recommend the Neptune 4 plus? It should fit the helmet better and since I have a bigger head I might need to go over 102%.
@@mrlizardman I don’t know anything about that one, sorry. I’m pretty locked into the Bambu system at this point. I hear you on the head size thing though.
Did you print that with a 0.2mm nozzle?
