what would be the difference in calling Jesus Lord over all and calling him God over all? because we know that the Father made him Lord over all. this verse is clearly not calling Jesus God almighty, or The Most High God. basically every early church writer knows this, the Bible is clear about it. Jesus is the Son of God, who took on flesh, and became the firstborn of the dead, the first of the new man. He is our God and savior, and our head. but the Father is both the head and God of christ. this is all scriptural. it is actually incredible how convoluted and easily twisted the simple doctrine is. preach Christ, crucified and ressurected, and returning, reigning, and exalted forevermore. stay within the bounds of scripture.

Hello, I just came across your site and listened to your msg. If I may ask, are you born again through faith in Yeshua [Jesus] ? You have a desire to reach out to souls but first and always be in the Word of God and prayer. Have you been water baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit. Humble yourself under the mighty hand of God and HE WILL exalt you in due time casting all your cares on HIM because He cares for you. Make and keep Him as your first priority. I am not being critical of you. HE will open the doors for you that HE wants open and close the doors in your life that HE wants closed. Be much with HIM. ❣️

Thank you for this video. I grew up in complimentarian churches and felt I was called by God as a young girl to be an evangalist, but I suppressed those feelings because of this horrible teaching (complimentarianism). Sure I still evangelized whoever I could in my direct path, but never pursued what I felt I was called to do. God started working on my heart about 5 years ago, when I heard a young male youth pastor preaching to mostly young girls and telling them they could never be a preacher. It broke my heart and I didn't know why. Now I know why. It is because it isn't true. Praise God for people speaking the truth in a world that has believed lies about women for so long. God is NOT partial, mankind is: "Then Peter opened his mouth and said: “In truth I perceive that "God shows no partiality." But in every nation "WHOEVER" fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him." - Acts 10:34-35 I am praying for our complimentarian brothers and sisters to also be awakened to this truth and women especially to awake to their freedom in Christ to do what He has called them to do!❤🙏❤

I'm 22 minutes in and you haven't said anything that you couldn't have said in 2 minutes. You also haven't let Mike finish his response so I don't even know what it's going to be yet. Going to keep listening and hope that we actually get some substance here. I'm glad you're responding to this topic but I'd like to respectfully suggest that you try for more brevity.

They discuss how the way of Jesus is demonstrably and intrinsically political and how Jesus talked about and lived out political ideas. They conclude by encouraging viewers to place their ultimate allegiance in King Jesus, find political answers from Jesus, communicate with others in a Christlike way, and live out the Kingdom of God.

Great presentation. I still had/have a lot of pesky questions so I bought the book you suggested at the end: "Apocalyptic Paul" by Davies. I've not yet finished Part One, but I am slooowly beginning to feel a bit more enlightened about the topic. (And now understand a little better as to why it's awfully difficult to explain-- there's so many schools of thought within this 'guild'). Thank you so much for the upload and the excellent recommendation!

I think the hang-up I have that you clarified is that AP distinguishes itself not as some radical reading of Paul, but from Jewish and old perspectives I haven't bothered to dig into. I would venture to say that if we walked through any of Paul's stuff together, the AP view and Brodown understanding are pretty dang close. That's why it seemed like a distinction without a difference to me. Gracias sir!

6:26 I just got to say Mike Winger has been studying the background and languages Paul is used for a lot longer than the couple months he spent studying this part of a woman in Ministry. Plus I think it's evident he's been studying women in Ministry for longer than he States in this video because of his series on wives and husbands. Mike has plenty of background knowledge for the context of women throughout the whole Bible.
