@K.O.G.Fanstarks1610 Good points. I think the reason for the difference is intentional; Taro always said he wanted each of his works to be independent of each other. DG is DG, Nier is Nier. That's what I think. Hopefully we'll see a remake/remaster of DG 1 --> 3. Or maybe a 4th one?

If there was a single song I could pick that represents Drakengard, it would be this. This song is both beautiful, frightening, messy, raw, and even when it's at its most distressing, you can't help but want more.

This is well composed. It’s like it’s a mixture of Drakengard 2 + Drakengard 1. The beginning giving us this somber yet soothing melody while the later half is the chaotic yet repetitive blend of the first games soundtrack.

Yeah I know which one you mean, I've been hunting for it too. Sadly it's unreleased OST that's not on any album. Best bet would be to try and rip it from the game ISO itself, which is not my expertise.
If I knew how to play the piano this would one of songs I'd play for sure.

It's interesting that Nowe is there too, given that this is an official poster. It kind of makes you wonder if Drakengard 2 is in some way cannon, but not in the way we understand it?
I don't personally think it's as deep as that. Since the album contains arrangements from the Drakengard series and NieR, it respectively shows the relevant characters from each game.
Basically Drakengard is like Zelda. There are different timelines. And curiously all drakengard 3 ending can take to drakengard 1 events (yoko taro said so)
I would assume that different realities exist. That kinda explains multiple endings as well
@@GensokyanImperialism Do you have a source for that? As far as I understand, the only confirmation we have is DoD3's Ending A leading to the "Drakengard 1.3" manga, which is fairly different from the first game on its own

@@novustalks7525the song is official, the youtube video is not. with how japanese copyright works, they don’t like having anyone posting songs or parodies of their ip, even if they don’t provide means to listen to the song outside of the game or paid ost. hence why the previous video got taken down.
