I just wish they had the plans with kenjaku play out rather than killing him off (even if I did love takaba vs kenjaku) like having the culling games wrap up and seeing what the US was gonna do with the sorcerers they were kidnapping (a plot point seemingly never brought back up and so pointless even this video either forgot it or didnt care to bring it up)

man the last chapters being mostly flashbacks with no space for what currently happening and any closures for a lot of plot points is just depressing, there is a different between executing a good story and rushing a story without flashing out its content which what I think JJk became after Yuki's death ugh

God the gojo sukuna fight was so PEAK, I just loathed the bait and switch ending to the fight. Obviously gojo wasn’t going to win as it’s a Shonen and that kinda would have completely destroyed the pacing, but offscreening my goat? Gege didn’t have to do us like that

The only issue I have with the ending is.. It's a little too happy ending compared to the brutality that led up to it. I was expecting something more bittersweet. Like yeah they won but it cost more than it did. I think more important characters should have died and the world should be a little more broken from it all. I mean I get why, gotta make those sales and make fans happy. I don't think this ending was completely as intended but more to please the sheer amount of fans that went psycho about stupid things. I'm most glad that Gojo stayed dead tho. I was fully expecting him to make a comeback despite Geges hatred of him because of how the Gojo fans went sicko-mode about it. I'm glad he stayed dead. Just wish someone like Nobara did too, so it would at more weight of what was lost. Then again, with the trio and Yuta still kicking, I'm sure there will be some sort of sequal coming. No idea where it would go from here but I doubt this is the end with it being so.. Open ended.

Regarding the merger its really dumb we didn't get to see it happen or its effects. Naruto had something similar that being infinite Tsukuyomi, and in Naruto we at least saw its effects and what would happen if the villains succeeded, its very simply just a case of Chekov's gun, and if the gun cannot be fired then don't introduce it at all. I say all this to mean that if the merger was never meant to fully play out then Gege shouldn't have made it the driving force for the end of the story its a dumb poorly explained plot point that even the villain doing it has little explained reasons to do so. The merger was stupid.
