Thank you and in a way i can agree with that because some of the weapons that npcs use are pretty strong and it wouldve been much harder without some of them but also managing the resources to keep each new weapon upgraded was a challenge

I think the fight can be fun but he is one that i struggle with on the challenge runs that I have done because of how he moves around. Then in phase 2 there are like 2-3 openings that you have to bait out. Very difficult boss because of his mechanics.

@@EntitySpectre Yeah, he's hard. I tend to like big dumb slow weapons, so it's very tricky to get in on him sometimes. I did a run with the Ruins Greatsword and he made my life tough just because it's surprisingly stumpy and he was just difficult to land shots against (and he was too fast for the wave of destruction).

Yeah big weapons do not work very well against him and he was very difficult during my no dodging run

@@EntitySpectre Oh man I bet that sucked, yeah. I had a buddy recently do a fists only run and he spent literally hours fighting Maliketh because he just couldn't *hit* him with the stumpy fists.

Yeah it was awful

Yeah they dont hit very hard at all but they were fun to use

Yeah I found out towards the end of the run that greatbows are actually really good but I think the pulley bow did some work on most bosses

Jumping does help and there are specific attacks that some bosses do that it's better to jump over but for the most part I was attempting to take most attacks head on. The chainsaw weapon is AMAZING and spinny halberd SLAPS early on its a great starting weapon. My original plan was to parry everything and not worry about the shields, but I never learned parry timing, so I just decided to go full shield. There were moments where this was harder such as the Maliketh fight but overall, it wasn't the most difficult thing. Also, this game loves to punish anyone who dodges backwards. I've been caught so many times in a backwards dodge and have started to learn to dodge into the boss and then to the left or right. Also thank you for watching!!!

Martial arts was definitely my favorite weapon it felt so good

Yeah i like the light greatswords they are fun and i havent used the shield
