Here I was watching the video thinking this was some medium-big ER youtuber, just to be flabbergasted with the fact that this guy has 70 subscribers. Great audio, video narration and gameplay. keep up the good job, +1 sub.
I know everybody loves the Maliketh fight but this run highlighted why I hate it: the ultra-tight hitboxes that make it hard to hit him and the way he just darts around EVERYWHERE CONSTANTLY and you can never get in good hits. He doesn't need to stand still but I feel like I chase him around more than I actually fight him. That combined with the ultra-tight hitboxes where you can be up in his guts and STILL whiff with short weapons and it's just not a fun fight IMO.
I think the fight can be fun but he is one that i struggle with on the challenge runs that I have done because of how he moves around. Then in phase 2 there are like 2-3 openings that you have to bait out. Very difficult boss because of his mechanics.
@@EntitySpectre Yeah, he's hard. I tend to like big dumb slow weapons, so it's very tricky to get in on him sometimes. I did a run with the Ruins Greatsword and he made my life tough just because it's surprisingly stumpy and he was just difficult to land shots against (and he was too fast for the wave of destruction).
@@EntitySpectre Oh man I bet that sucked, yeah. I had a buddy recently do a fists only run and he spent literally hours fighting Maliketh because he just couldn't *hit* him with the stumpy fists.

Yeah big weapons do not work very well against him and he was very difficult during my no dodging run

Bows are a lot of fun when pulled off, I did a bow run a few weeks back and it was one of the most fun runs I've ever done
This run was a lot of fun even tho some of the bosses gave me a hard time 😂

Yeah I found out towards the end of the run that greatbows are actually really good but I think the pulley bow did some work on most bosses
If enemies are dodging your arrows then manually aim
