Next time you're in a book store, take a peek at the classic 1845 German "children's" book Struwwelpeter (you can also find it online as a PDF). Theodore's grave warnings to children were very similar to the tales in that book of what befalls a child who does not behave. It wouldn't surprise me if he himself was read those tales as a child and thought they would make for a great offbeat "comedy" show. They are grisly as can be.

we all obviously like Daniel and root for him, his songs would have a lot more staying power if he just tweaked it ever so slightly and tuned his shit (even if it wasn't in key per se), or maybe played things that resembled chords.
