Planning to get one of these with the same exhaust for next year. Just rode my n500 for 6 months and now I feel ready to jump to 636 💪
@@NelFPS hell yea bro I’m hyped for you 💯💯
Nothing wrong with SC exhaust, sounds great
Being scared isnt a bad thing, keeps you grounded👌 It's a great bike! Got myself the black/green one. European color schemes are a bit different 😂
How are the brakes man?
@@senshin5996 they’re good. Some steel braided lines would definitely make it better tho.
nice come up man...pure excitement in your video .thats what its all about.
@@MotoMikeF4i thank you my guy 🙏🏼
I'm 44 and my first bike was a 2017 Daytona 675R, brand new. Had it for about 4 years before I wrecked it (high side) in the canyon roads. I was trying to improve on my riding ability and challenge my confidence. Ended up bitting off more than I could chew. That was back in 2021. Haven't ridden anything since because I have a wife who's pregnant with our 3rd (oldest is 4yrs old), but I've been feeling that itch again. I still have pain where I got injured (right collar bone), and it'll probably be that way for me for the rest of my life. The crash definitely scared me from doing anything slightly sketchy if I were to ever ride again. I miss riding, my wife knows I miss riding, but I know my family would miss me horribly if something were to happen to me and I love them to death. It just sucks having passions in two separate things and having to give up one because the other is more important.
@@_vortech_ wow, that’s rough dude. 🙁
CS racing exhaust better...
I had issues with changing gears. Solution: adjust the gear leaver for size of your boot. Basically if it is too tight between foot and leaver, leaver is not reseting. You need slightly bigger gap between your boot and leaver.
@@igorssuna4654 I didn’t even know you could do that, thanks
I pinned the throttle on my 2024 at 50 miles and have ridden it hard as hell since then. I'm at almost 12,000 miles. I'm convinced that "break in period" listed in the manual is to keep a noob from doing the big sleep.
"I don't understand how people can go 200mph" - Remember when you first rode a bike a 80 felt fast? Then you got your zx-6r then you think 150 is fast. In the future you will hit 180 with a liter bike and get used to it.

what do you think about the yamaha new r9, im lost between that and zx6r. i really like the r9 as a whole, but that cp3 engine dosent sound as good as the zx6r inline 4
The exhaust sounds kinda quiet. I like how it’s not obnoxious loud
@@dilly2023 nahh trust me, the exhaust is loud in person. Not OBNOXIOUSLY loud but definitely loud enough. I will be buying the mid link pipe for it soon.
@ ok. Must be the way you have your mic then
@ yea most likely. In my exhaust video I did mention how the mic doesn’t do it justice
Don’t need 1k enjoy the 600 its more fun
I just broke in my 24 Ninja 1000sx. It felt like at about 1k miles it came to life & at about 1500 miles She really started talking. Just wait till you adjust your rider mode to full power with KTRC turned off...hold on man, be ready for it! I actually think the N1K would nip out the Concours 14 that I traded in in a drag race.
@@scottmatzeder9162 sounds fun! Looking forward to hitting 1k miles now!! 😮😮😮

yeah i ride around in somerton, takes about 10-15 min to get to easton and then i send it on my little speed 400 😭😭
Would you recommend this bike for a tall rider? I’m 6’1 215 also would say it’s more comfortable than other sport bikes
@@AP-wu1rv yea I’d recommend this bike for a taller rider. I’m 5’8 and it’s pretty comfortable. When I’m at the lowest point of the seat (closer to the tank) I’m at the balls of my feet. At the highest point of the seat (closer to rear seat) I’m on my tip toes. Hopefully that helps with perspective.
I’d say thrilling, not scared.
@@American_Devil hmmm you’re probably right…🤔
There’s a way to adjust both the throttle and the clutch
Reason why I wanted to start on a 1000cc is because the look of the bike! I have 20' Charger scat (some work done to it about 650hp) and never pushed it past 140 even though it can go alot faster and when i went 140 there was literally no one on the free way. That's the only time ive ever pushed it in the 4 years ive had it so I have restraint lol I have no desire to get hurt/crash anytime soon. But before I do start that high I will ride 600's and if I feel good and i find a bike that looks great ill get go for it!
Lower CC sport bikes these days look almost identical to their big brothers. The only real noticeable difference is the rear tire width. 10-15 years ago, you would have had a good point.
@@thehomeless_trucker I'll be more specific, I'm mainly talking about the BMW S1000RR the 2024 Model. If there's any 600's that look similar please let me know! I'm very hesitant to get that bike for a 1st bike but if im honest If i go something that doesn't look good to me I won't be happy with the purchase. I'm very new to the bike scene so im honestly trying to exhaust every other option before starting that high and expensive.
Its not going to look good when you lay it down trying to start on a 1000cc bike @JahjuanR
@@TheShadeManGuitar Alot of people told me not to go from a 160hp dodge dart to a 650hp scat either but i still did it and never once got a ticket or been in a crash. Everyone is not the same I respect machines.
@JahjuanR bikes are different then cars man. Starting on a liter bike is insane.

The 650 was enough you just wanted more speed. Whats the point? Going over the speed limit get a fine and later lose your bike impounded, even your 650 could do that. 650 was more comfortable long distances now say goodbye to your wrists and lower back
@@ReichReview longest I’ve ridden was an hour and a half straight and not once had I felt pain on my back or wrist. Now the speed part, you’re right I can’t argue about that.
@@MotoDanTheMan I was 18 going on a 2 hour trip, suzuki rgv 250 vj22 my back was stiff, maybe its my body then
@@ReichReview could be 🤷♂️
My first ever ride on a bike was my 25 Zx6R off the lot. But im also in my 30s so the break in period helped me get adjusted to the power. And i didnt have beginner bike speeds to compare to.
yea a lot of ppl my age would just gun it any chance they get with little-to-no experience. Ride safe bro ✌🏼
does it heat up a lot in traffic?
@@mr.j9749 yes, A LOT. Especially in warmer weather
You can see similarities from previous generation, that's something I really like. That Nintendo Switch dash however I can't get used to that, at least put one round dial in there c'mon guys, H2 dash was perfect. Overall gorgeous looking bike.
“Smoother🤨😌” 0:21 😂
I didn't get a sport bike over 1000cc until I was in my late 40s. No rush. ZX6R is a fantastic machine. I'm currently on a '23 Hayabusa, age 51.

Can you give a list of break in 600 miles oil change and so on? Thanks. 🙏🏼I still have my gsxr I bought back in 2008 new 600cc original owner only has 12k miles on it, but the girl is planning to buy this bike zx6r 2025 granted I am planning on buying a gsxr 1000 and r6 I love 600 over 1000 any day. Way more fun.
@@HotSizzleTV_ do you want the oil change kit for the ZX6R?
I started on the zx-4rr. Kinda pricey considering the zx-6r can be had at basically the same price if dealers run incentives, but I wanted the more relaxed ergonomics. Honestly, properly unlocked the 4rr is plenty fun. Even on highways where people routinely do 90+, you have plenty of juice to pass or leave people if need be though it is a bit revved out cruising at that speed. Plan is to add lightness and get it under 385 lbs wet. Even with the lower power, I'll only get left behind the average 600 riders on longer highway pulls. As cool as liter bikes are, I just don't wanna risk a 200mph ticket lol.
@@MrSkyentist aye man the ZX4RR is a perfect bike. I definitely agree with you on the liter bike part 💯
New oil is always good for an engine. Servicers, depending on your mechanic sometimes to lubricate and adjust your throttle body. This can reaaalllly help it feel nicer all around, also with the ECU limiter it is likely that there are no restrictions whatsoever now, so apart from everything past 8K, it could be quicker mid range. ;)
i did wanted this as my first bike here in LA since i transitioned to a 150 cc sportbike but now that i took an L in the dealer ship and couldnt get a good deal, i might have to save up some more and just get a ninja 500 SE. And i did a little bit of realistic thinking and thought that i dont need a fast af bike for my first bike since i will need to get used to the traffic here in LA, so probably around january i can get the 500
@@Tokiiyuu yea, the Ninja 500 is the PERFECT beginner bike and I agree you don’t NEED to go fast. Good luck to you bro. 💯
Once I tuned my, the top speed is 165. And it's still not enough for me. 😂😂
@@hueyfreeman7010 that’s CRAZZZYYYY
Brother ! You are doing soo good educating people that yes this is not a beginner bike ! I have seen so many videos where people are starting on this beast 😂 and i am still like howwwwww! I own a ktm duke 390 which is enough for indian roads but i do love this bike and i want to get it some day if i feel like that i have been enough on this bike! I love zx6r cuz of its rpm band ❤before this it was daytona 675 and r6 but alas they are not there anymore
this and the h2sx are dream bikes for me 🤤
I started on a 2024 zx10r for my first bike back in May. I wouldn't have it any other way but I would also tell others not to follow me on that decision. It's tame until 6-7k rpm then it turns into something different. I'm really not sure how it's legal to sell these. I wanted the zx6r to start but they were all sold out in my area. The zx10r was only 15lbs heavier so I just assumed it was pretty much the same bike. So wrong!!!! It is a blast but I 10/10 do not recommend lol.
