I have similar which has stopped giving hot air. I have cleaned the filter but the issue has not resolved. What are other expected problems does this dryer had?
Some really useful information at the end, especially giving a pinout on the block diagram. I repair the HD range and they are pretty straightforward now for me but in the beginning they were a pain to get my head around. Thanks for the added technical information you included, very helpful 👍

Hi, I want application camera cip-39218AT for indroad mobile
Do you think it's possible to change the battery in this particular version of a Tile? I'm wondering if soldering onto the new battery will destroy or shorten its life
I don't think it will shorten it's battery life when you replace the battery. I mean as long as you get the right battery should be completely fine. Pretty sure it's just a clip-on mechanism like you just clip it off like take a little piece of plastic slide around the edges. Then once you get inside the device then you just have to desolder the connection to the battery. And yeah you can replace the battery with a normal I don't. I don't even know what the heck. And yeah it's I'll tell you one thing to make the speaker work. You going to have to align the board back up properly? Otherwise it shouldn't affect anything else with the tile

Hi Alex, On qemu machine how to load openipc high silicon firmware
Hi Alex. Thanks to you I was able to repair my radio. But my approach was different (because my radio is a Sky Vision DAB 70 IR). For this solution you don't need a flasher, just a UART adapter and minimal knowledge of Linux. You access the nuvoton file system via UART and find a folder /flash. All configuration files (*.cfg) are in this folder. In my case the file "iradio.cfg" looked strange (around 500KB, normal is around 1KB). The WIFI settings are saved in this file. After deleting the file, restart the radio. The file is recreated by the system and the radio is repaired. You just have to reconnect the WIFI. Advantage: all user-defined settings remain. Just in case, you should save the file beforehand. Either copy it to a USB stick with "cp" or display it with "cat" and save it in a text document on the computer. I think you can repair any model using this method. Regards, Alex.
But the firmware from Dabmann 200i worked well on Sky Vision DAB 70 IR. Only the physical buttons were swapped around and so was the remote control. But you can correct that with the original configuration files. Or you can play around a bit with the data sets in them. (Buttons: "/flash/KeyPadMap.cfg", remote control: "/flash/IRMap.cfg"). I'm still considering whether I do maybe install the firmware from Dabmann because of Spotify.
Hello I do have a Majority Pembroke 2 / same as XORO DAB 600 iR V3 and it fails booting it was not starting at all. Just the backlight is lid and thats it. no picture on screen. after about 20 min waiting in this state then suddenly it starts booting and work. disconnecting it for short time, e.g. to switch the position of the readio to another room was no problem. But disconnecting it from power for a longer time (longer then 10 or 15 min) will cause the NO START issue to happen again. At the moment it is unresponsive complete (Just backlight on, no picture on screen, a bearly noticeable pulsing in backlight brightness is all i can see.) do you have had this issue on this radio already? what did you say to look for the cause ? Capacitors? Powersupply? i already test it with a labratory powersupply 9V 2A with no change in behaviour. Best wishes DC2NI
Hello DC2NI, It is difficult to assess malfunctions without seeing the device in front of you. But I agree with your approach to the problem - it’s worth starting with the power supplies and how they are distributed across the board. Indeed, it often happens that the cause of the malfunction is secondary voltage sources (DCDC, LDO, etc.) Just choose a search strategy and go with it. For example, if possible, find a document for your CoC and check for the presence of supply voltages (or if they are too low, etc.). Best regards, Alex
@@alex-loghi Finding the documents to my Coc and check the voltages is a good advice. Despite that I will change nearly all capacitors on the powerboard anyway. Thanks for the advice and for this interesting video. Happy Easter
Hi, can you get 2 way audio working? Also, was it easy to change the lens?
Great video, was wondering what pins to solder the piezo crystal to if I want to use this without the case?
Hello magicarpetmoto, at 3:01 you can see the circuit diagram for connecting the piezo crystal. It shows that the piezo crystal is controlled by piezo driver IC U3 (MAS6240C) based on a charge pump technology. The outputs of this driver are marked on the board as Z1 and Z2. Best regards, Alex
@@alex-log thanks!
thanks
Got an dabman i200 which freezes in main menue on fifth bar. The SoC ans IC9 are getting very hot.does anyone have an idea?
if IC9 = U9 in dabman i200 with marking S5EGH SOT23-5 then most of all it LDO. Output of U9 goes to VDD18 (assume +1.8 volts) pins SoC. If you have nothing to lose, get the datasheet for this chip and try lifting the pins labeled *VDD18* (VDD18, MVDD18, UD_VDD18, etc) one by one until the SoC (and/or U9 also) stops heating. Good luck.
I have the problem of serial not working i flashed the firmware with flash programmer and it can boot but serial console is not working and my camera don't have Ethernet is there any way to use it it did seem to boot and cpu heat up when there's no firmware on flash it didn't heat up
Mr Alex, is it possible to update software for DABMAN i450? Annoying software bugs related with losing Wi-fi access and forgot wi-fi password and liked internet radio stations.
I can't advise without seeing the device in front of me. If you have enough skills and equipment before starting any actions make a backup copy of flash memory on the programmer. This is mandatory. Then you can experiment with any other version. But before you do anything with the software (even in this case it is advisable to make a backup copy of spi flash) check the power supply (possibly by replacing the power supply), and also check the electrolytic capacitors (some may have blown or lost capacity) - this may also be the cause of unstable operation. Regards, Alex.
Update: I sent email to Dabman support team and they send me improved Software which I could install from USB. Maybe please add note that People should contact with Dabman support team.
@@piotruxd3412 I have pinned your message. Indeed, you are right. It is best to contact official support first. However, I made this material for those who have nothing to lose, the firmware files are in the video description. Thank you for your attention.
After installed openipc how can i watch the stream camera out of my lan ?
I know of at least two ways: 1) use vpn tunnels (vtun, wireguard) 2) third-party service ipeye.ae, which has a free tariff option. For more information, please visit the telegram group t.me/openipc
Better just stream to RUclips so u don't need to open port
Great help. Upgraded my i200 and now Spotify works. Big thanks
Your video is really helpfull and informative.
Hi, I am facing password related issue. In this video I can see there is no password protection at uboot. Do you have any idea what is the password or how to bypass it?
There is no obvious way to roughly open the u-boot console. sometimes it is impossible. There are many already known passwords - try googling the user gabonator on github gist (gabonator ip camera password gist . github . com / gabonator / 74cdd6ab4f733ff04747356198c781f27d). Other ways involve unsoldering the chip and reading it on a programmer and then searching in the dump, but you need to know where and what to look for (also not always 100% guaranteed). You can also join the OpenIPC EN group in telegram t . me / openipc and show a good quality photo of both sides of the board. There are more experienced professionals there who might recognize the board, the manufacturer and maybe the password is already known. Good luck!
@@alex-log I am already on the group. It is very informative. But I in one link I show we have to short DI and CLK pin of flash. And burn univarshal u-boot. For my board it is GD25Q128 and I have similar SI and SCLK pins in chip. when I short it, board stop booting. But I can not flash the board. I have Hitool application but not succeed.
@@unknown-bc3uh Don't hesitate to ask questions in tg group, it's more productive ;-) Yes, there is a way to short DI and CLK pin of flash, but it is more like a hack to stop the boot process, for example if the timeout is set to 0. But shorting DI and CLK pin of flash does not help to ignore the password, so in your case it will not help. About Hitool application - it is designed for Hisilicon (Goke) SoC. If you have SoC Hisilicon (Goke) then yes, this is your option. Then it doesn't matter if you have U-boot password or not. You load U-boot in to RAM via Hitool application and run the commands you need, including backup, OpenIPC U-boot flashing, etc. I recommend you to show in tg group a picture of your board from both sides, maybe there is a different SoC.
@@alex-log thanks for advice 👍
It's easy just directly erase the flash and write new bl to it with ch341a
Nice presentation.
This is a really helpful video for getting an idea of what steps you need to take and what is possible after flashing a new firmware on the camera - especially considering the OpenIPC website currently isn’t too visual (does not explain the benefits of the project with too many screenshots or sample photographs of reprogrammed IP cameras and their UI and usage). Thank you.
Hello. I have the same symtoms, but i have the dabman i200 CD. Do you have the firmware for that device? Thank you
Its the TN9SHC6A
Hi, I do not have firmware for this particular model. Everything I have, I attached in the video description to the google drive. I have an assumption which I want to check on the reason why this happens: maybe there was a power failure or something like that when writing to the SPI flash IC and as a result a corrupted settings file. My plan is to connect via SoC UART and try to delete that bad looking settings file (making a backup of course). Maybe the application will recreate it and it will be correct and all the problems will go away. Or I will try to add this file from the factory firmware (via mounted USB pen drive). I assume they are relatively the same for the entire model group, but I could be wrong. I'll probably do a second part on this radio and show what I got. If you can dump it with a programmer please send me an email whith dump to iamalexlog@gmail.com and I will try to analyze it. If I see the same problem I will let you know about it in the reply letter but I can't promise that it will solve the problem. At least we can try to solve the problem. Thank you.
