Oh man, I live 15 min. from there. We used to eat at that location all the time. It opened in the early 2000's. It was great at first but went downhill. In the summer the landscaping and vegetation was really overgrown and nasty looking...I think the city finally made them clean it up. Now the Frisch's across the street is empty too. Not good :-(
I use to eat here a lot. The food was good but it wasn’t anything special. I heard a steakhouse is moving in. I checked out the Frisch’s but you can’t see inside so no point in making a video.

All the Frische's Big Boy restaurants around the county are now abandoned. You should go take a video before they haul the Big Boy statues to their holding lot in Cincinnati. They just closed recently due to a collapse of the franchise more or less.
I’ve been filming quite a few, also only a few restaurants are still open. That’s very sad to hear. I also went to that Big Boy graveyard.
Run down Dayton and Trotwood.. since when are you going back to that Kmart/Kroger plaza in Fairborn?
It’s bad on north west side of Dayton. Also the Kmart plaza in Fairborn is partially demolished, Kroger is gone, Kmart is becoming a storage place.

Wow, I had no idea this mall existed in Columbus. It looks a bit dead, but nice inside, I hope it improves. A little too close to Polaris perhaps?
Yeah, it’s been struggling for years. It seems like it’s making a comeback. Some of business do have limited hours.

The building was condemned. The roof leaked mold, and so many other reasons. It was not abandoned. The owner didn't want to replace everything.

I worked at this mall way back in the early to mid 80s. At a store called "Shoeland". It was a small store but popular at the time. We were all young, in our 20s. Some good memories at that mall.

This Kmart actually was on the same closing list as my sears in Washington Pennsylvania which is now a car place and my sears was the last one to close in western Pennsylvania/Pittsburgh area.
