I got your email about Kek. I dont have a po box so we couldnt do a trade. Not sure how you could reimburse me if I bought one. I would get it from Bold. They got 19 in stock and its cheaper then Scottsdale
I have used Western Union app to reimburse STG before in the States... Alot of the other apps dont transfer Canada to the USA. It took a bit for my money to transfer from my bank to the account but once it did it transferred to STG quickly. All you would have to do is download the app set up an account & then let me know what I need to send ya. If you cant I understand. Just figured I would ask. Let me know your thoughts. I bought Sovereigns from England and got nailed big time. By the time I paid the customs and their fee, it took 2 years before I was above water on my purchase. Thresholds need to be lowered. Gold @ .900 and silver @ 9.20 sure would help investors and collectors. cheers
Hey Aldernook I am not sure if just lowering the thresholds would be adequate. I say this cause I have ordered from US sellers a few times now and depending on how they mark the package will determine if Customs searches and charges taxes & their fee. From what I understand it is almost impossible to convince them to reverse any charges once applied. I have encountered this on pure silver objects that should not have been taxed but were. This has effectively stopped me from purchasing any silver or gold from outside Canada Unless its something special I cant get anywhere else. Thanks for watching & Happy Stackin eh!
@@canadiansilverseeker Seasons Greetings CSS. Lowering the purity content may remove the taxes within Canada when buying from Canadian dealers or LCS. Border crossing is a different ball game. I've had the same experience as you have shared, where I've brought into Canada a 5 oz. 999 Panda and got nailed with fees. I asked them and they refused saying it was a collector coin, so no refund. Many US coin dealers won't write on the shipping label 999 silver or 999 gold for fear of theft during shipping so they are forced to lie on the declaration. I did the same as you, I quit importing from the USA. plus registered shipping required from Ebay is ultra excessive. cheers

The problem with silver is the amount of fakes coming out of China. All day every day millions of fake coins traded on eBay. You never truly know if your savings has some fakes in it. People can say otherwise but it's a fact, even if you got it from a coin shop, you just don't know
I agree Chinese fakes can be an issue in more than just silver collecting. They seem to be flooding the world with fakes of everything. I also agree it is possible that a fake or more may slip into peoples stacks with out them noticing. This is why you should always verify your purchases in as many ways as you can: Image/Design, Diameter, Thickness, Weight, Magnetic Properties (Magnet & Silver Slide if affordable) , Acid (Scratch Test), Ping Test, & if you can afford it Sigma PM Tester ;) This all being said It's not PROBLEM enough to not stack IMO. Just be safe about it my friend or not your choice. GL & Happy Stackin eh!

The 1958 Totem was a coin gifted to me from a elderly neighbour lady back in 1958 that got me into coin collecting. I still have it socked away. Thanks CSS for the trip down memory road. Love those early quarters, nice pickups.
