Is the young guy the son of Nicky Wire? I love Send Away The Tigers album such a clear blue sky feeling. However dark, deep and difficult the lyrics by Richey and sometimes by Nicky the subject matters has been like in The Holy Bible or Journal For Plague Lovers, James's voice and melody saved by his cleanliness and purity. Manics is the one most important rock bands in the world.

I prefer these stripped back versions of this magical song. Fascism has no place anywhere, but this government now is going extreme right wing and it's scary. I love it when it's just James Dean Bradfield playing with his acoustic on this song and he plays a brilliant acoustic version of A Design For Life. Magesterial.
Damn but that was a fine acoustic version of that track!. I was watching a few bits and pieces of the band on the telly last night. Good band and very articulate and a wonderful sense of humour as well!.

One of my favourite lyrics of all time. Also does literally everyone from Wales including the most average looking dude ever literally have the voice of a god damn angel? He's so low key about it here too but it just soars. He can't even help it. Stellar.

The title was taken from a very famous poster. If you do a search u will find it.
I know Nye Bevan's comment "This is my Truth now Tell me Yours" was the title of 1 of their albums. Bevan was a true socialist in the Labour party after the war and because of him and other great socialist's we have a National Health Service in this country. Bevan would be mortified at what has happened to the NHS he and the other great socialist's created. The NHS would never had happened had the Tories been in power at the time and for all of this countries flaws and there's many because of people like Bevan we can still get free healthcare and housing benefits for the unemployed. I come from a very historical socialist area where the men marched to London in the early 1930s to protest at the lack of employment and having to live on bread and whatever the salvation army could help with, no Social Security or National Health Service to turn to until after the war were my both my grandparents fought the Nazi's for freedom. Just 2 ordinary working class men called up by their country to fight. I'm so proud of them who stopped Europe being ruled by extreme far right fascists. People like Bevan in a Labour government gave us social security and a NHS that the tories have been ruining every term they win and before long the NHS won't exist.

@eurostar35 The title of the song are the words used on a propaganda poster at that time, which depicted a dead child killed by nationalist bombs with planes above and the words 'If you tolerate this your children will be next'.. Many Welsh joined the republican movement to fight against the fascist leader Franco during the civil war. The title are words from the poster.
In my book one of the best pop songs of all time - so melodic, and a brilliant honest lyric
