The Tru by Hiltons I have stayed at are pretty much a cookie cutter and about the same. Not a lot of amenities but I have had a comfortable stay each time, and the price is usually pretty good.

Overall it is a safe area. I have stayed in this area of North Charleston near the arena/convention center and outlet mall many times, and I have never had any problems. I would not go out walking the area alone at night, but I would do that pretty much anywhere. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!

There is a lot to do there on the Orange Lake property like golf, pools, lazy river, boat and paddle rentals, plus plenty of restaurants and bars. Then of course just minutes away are all the attractions of Central Florida. Have a great time!

Yes, our suite had a sofa sleeper, and I believe all the suites that have a sofa are all sofa sleepers. We had a great stay, and I hope you do too.

No pool, but it was a decent stay for an economy motel. However, in the summer you can go across the street and wade in the refreshing, and shallow, river at Oconaluftee Island Park.

There are pools. I show it briefly at the end of my video, 5:13 mark. I wish I had shot more of the pools. They have inside and outside pools and a hot tub. Great place to stay.

Stay on the 3rd floor next time. All are inside entrance, you have to have a key to get on elevator, and you will have no-one above you.

Bagels in NYC and LI are the best! It was a nice hotel, and I hope I can get there again. There was an Italian restaurant just down the street that was also great!

I could have bowled better, but it was great being with friends from NY that I don't get to see much anymore.

Yeah the decor in the lobby and bar area was different.

The quality and cleanliness has declined in the last few years. I hope with COVID they have done better with cleaning. I'm going back in June, so we'll see.

I have never really hit big here. I have had a few small payouts of a few hundred, but nothing big here.

All cities have seen crime go up in the past year, but from my experience, Charlotte is much more safer than most large cities. As in any large urban area, you have to be smart and aware of your surroundings.
