the PIK podcast is dedicated to bringing peoples stories to life. Our ethos is ''behind every addict there is a story'' We aim to highlight that people don't just become addicted to substances but this transformation happens over time and is not without catalyst.
We like to ask questions that will hopefully put the viewer in full view of how someone ended up in addiction and then overcame their addiction to go on live a life full of potential.
The Host Dan Hadley shares the same story as many of the guests, a life that began hopeful and full of possibilities took a turn for the worse with a period of chaos, isolation and degradation.
All our guests are powerful in their own right. They have had to overcome trials and in some cases situations that would have left many permanently broken. If you have suffered or are going through the same then you will find affiliation with our channel.

Big up Ben what a inspiration for anyone struggling I lost my sister 3 years ago and went deep into depression and addiction I have only just started to get back on my feet and getting the help I need thank you Ben for all your support over social media and big up dan
Great job 👏 🎉
well done brv
Good see Ben doing well
Thanks Tanya & Dan so good for this to be highlighted. We are still treated differently sometimes and the level of shame and guilt is horrendous. I think learning to speak up and not be afraid of being labelled a crazy feminist, because some people still will, if you get that reaction they aren’t the ones to help. Do not let them into your garden or over the fence (loved that analysis Tanya) whoever they are. So important to be kind to yourself, try and treat and think of yourself as you would a friend.
massive respect to both of you
Thank you mate

Chris was my cousin 😢 RIP cuz, you can be with your mama now ❤
@Soph-Vic I grew up with him from the womb, born a month and a day apart. We had our ups and downs in later life, but, I always loved him as he did me, he was my favourite cousin, and his mum was like a second mum to me, we were extremely close untill she passed, which ruined my life because she was the only person that really gave a damn about me.. I miss her so much, and now he's gone.. my heart breaks just knowing he's passed. Xx

Safe onwards journey bro. 🙏🏽
Powerful stuff... Chris, be at peace now. 🥺
Your vulnerability is your superpower Dan, don’t ever change that 🙏🏽
I would disagree with I am not the problem. If the drink and drugs were the problem we would stop taking them it would all be utopia. I am definitely the problem
I’m a born and bred Maidonian … yet i don’t ever recall ever meeting Chris. I know scores of people who knew him … some better than others … but i never met the man. Because of this I thought i would be able to watch this video totally objectively with an open mind. That lasted about 5 minutes. Knowing what i know it became painfully sad and difficult to watch. it would have been easy for me to stop watching, but i didn’t. I stuck it out. It’s the most honest interview i can ever recall watching. Full credit to the creator for this. Rest easy young man. Sorry your (far too short) life was so bloody tough x
Sorry for your lost again..especially to his family and his SON..❤...it hurts to see a friend leave especially leaving a children behind...l pray for them...for the broadcast good job again getting the message of Addiction and recovery out there...hoping someone gets the message and gets help...for the GOSIPE..its those who now NOTHING That spread gosipe....but those who know...know the truth ...so there is nothing to say...but to listen to those who know nothing...beautiful proof of love for your brother not SAYING NOTHING ABOUT THE GOSIPE....lm sure you did want too..and respecting the family request....great job again brother ❤

Grew up with Chris, we had a similar childhood with our dad's, my dad was an alcoholic and abusive, broke my heart when his dad did what he did, and I know that killed Chris inside, gutted he's not here now xxx
Ruined Like 100 lives that night, literally one of the worst things in alot of lives that night, I miss tammy so much, she was my God mother and whenever me and my parents disagreed or just because i was close to her and wanted to she let me stay over... I miss her everyday. And now chris has gone 2 of my favourite people in the world gone in 1 lifetime, ( plus other deaths through my life) this one like his mums hit me the hardest... hope your well sam xx

I wish I'd seen this before I heard the news. So sorry to hear about your story and that it is too late to reach out again. You had a good heart, Mason. Rest easy <3
I worked with Chris for three or so years, he was a stand up guy, always fun to work with... I think he was still fighting a lot of battles then, poor guy was kicking for the surface but he couldn't quite make it
