In this sequence the plane is commanded to level at 16,500 and is using airspeed hold in the climb. At 15,500 the 1000-foot warning is issued. At 16320 the display flashes. Garmin's G600 controls the altitude capture in the TBM 700. This particular installation is overshooting the target altitude and waiting uncomfortably late until it begins to decelerate from vertical speed settings. Hi Paul, thank you for the video. I've never flown an airplane with retractable landing gear, but am interested in buying a Legacy in the next few years and it's good to know that the landing gear drop in place like that if the normal operating system fails.
Nice to see some pilots still believe in tracking the center line on take-off. Lovely!

@1moredayinmo the camera was mounted using a threaded anchor ring. There is a threaded receptable in the wing bottom for tie down rings. The camera was fixed to the tie-down ring. The ring at the back was also used but didn't give the coverage.
How did you mount the camera?
@billemtp the mask we ended up in helping design with the new armour clad liner and I would suggest the Titanaium cage as a option wich lightens it by 1/3. If the fellow would like to talk to the owners son his name is Stan Jurga Jr at Allstar Sports as he helped design. Very knowlegeable about his product as Harvard and MIT grad but has good common sense. The mask is System Seven ™ | MVP4000
that would be fine i just got a new one from honigs it should be here by friday
@billemtp that mask was taken and redesigned by a company that specializes in safety equipment for racing etc. My understanding is that the ump is now wearing the new mask and that type of failure has been removed. If you want more information let me know and I will find out about the replacement design.
