Turning Ballyfermot Road into a dual carriageway is not a good move. Many trees removed. Not a green policy. What we need is better traffic light sequencing and removal of shikanes which slow and hold up traffic. And the roundabout works just fine. It makes no sense to put in traffic lights to stop the traffic flow which you say you want to stop being congested. And we don't need cycle lanes if we have bus lanes.

Upending the whole of ballyfermot for what gain? All it's going to do is make traffic 100% worse than it already is it will also have knock on effects for inchicore, bluebell, walkinstown chapelizod there's already a cycle lane in ballyfermot total waste of tax payers money

220 and 220X routes are too long. 220 and 220X should come in from Crosshaven and Carrigaline to the City and then turn around and GO BACK to same. No one gets on in carrigaline or Douglas and says take me to Ballincollig! Buses coming in from Ballincollig and model farm road should drop in the city and also turn around and go back to same. Also, cars/vehicles parked in bus stops or bus lanes is a huge problem and it’s up to the Driver to negotiate around the bus lanes/stops and the 220/220X route should be halved so it swings in the city is a good start. Buses have to fight to get out of stops and bus lanes - that’s not right. Anti social behaviour on buses against Drivers needs to be addressed also. No one asks the Drivers advice on how to improve this route!!

Coming home from Manchester U.K. via Holyhead on SailRail and having family living in Dunshaughlin Co Meath, getting from the Irish Ferries Terminal at Dublin Port with no DART or LUAS connection is a complete nightmare - the 53 and Nolan’s Coaches are just not good enough options and there should be some sort of water taxi option at high tide to get into the city centre more easily - even Bus Éireann does not operate direct coach services from the Port (like it does from Dublin Airport) despite its close proximity to the Port Tunnel & the M50 and the other option to Dublin Docklands rail station from North Wall (Irish Ferries & Stena terminals) is totally inaccessible

Coming home on visits to Ireland from the U.K. (Manchester) for 5 days at a time, where I’ve lived 22 years in the U.K., I’d love to be able to use LEAP cards on Bus Éireann services and on Irish Rail trains, as my family live in Dunshaughlin, Co Meath - arriving off the ferry from Holyhead on Irish Ferries SailRail, I would use one on on the LUAS and on the DART when visiting extended family and friends in Dublin, my last visit home being in October 2022 - I’m so used to the “touch in and touch out” with Manchester Metrolink Trams using a U.K. Debit card, so I’m wondering if there is similar on the LUAS and on the DART

You guys are not working enough… Just take a time and get on some buses lines in Galway such as 401, 404, 419 to Moycullen… When bus is not full it is late… I’m tired of complaining almost every week. Galway is a small city and public transport doesn’t work well, can’t imagine if the city gets bigger…

Time to do something with drivers blocking driving parking on bus lanes all over Cork City! No improvement on public transport if buses get stuck in traffic! Time to enforcement traffic rules giving tickets and penalty points for not respecting traffic rules! Get rid of the bicycles altogether, have wider bus and traffic lanes (3.5m) along with wider footpaths. Also, what about the proposed tramway from Ballincollig to Mahon (via Kent Station) - Cork really needs this tram route along with a much needed N40 upgrade (at least traffic 3 lanes each way at Douglas)! In short, cycling is not an Irish thing, so drop it - the more you try to force it on people, the more it will be resented!
