We’ll be watching this with the kids once they are home from school!
nice video,,love it
Awesome video and great music guys!! I love the quoting of Sailing Nahoa and Sailing Zatara at the beginning lol !! 😎
👍😍😍😍
Beautiful beach, good times. You found another amazing place... wow, we've entered Birdworld. Mesmerizing sequence from 14:24. And it's great sightings in the ocean. Pretty pink atmosphere to close.
amazing experiences and memories you're giving to your children. God bless and protect all of you in this journey.
Thank you for watching!
Great swim in the reef, hanging out with fellow tycoons! Wow.. wow.. wow 11:20 - 12:10. Lovely photography throughout. That place has world class cacti. Your surfin's not too bad. Unfortunate that a volcanic eruption (22:26) ended your trip early?
My RUclips channel was Off the Starboard Hull
I did the left turn in 2016, currently in Thailand 🇹🇭 From Sidney as well, lived in Dean Park
🤙 thanks for watching!
Great Video guys! i recognize some of those places from years ago :) Way to land those fishes!
I'll take the forests any day!
We are definitely missing forests a little bit. But we do like the wide open desert!
Lovely trip. Best parts: fish catches, dolphin and whale show, tidal pool critters. Piñata was fun. Nice visual stretch 31:28 - 32:48.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video - best so far! You guys are just beaming. My hubby and I are in Canada and hoping to sail south some day too. You make it look very appealing. What's next?
Next comes 5 months exploring Mexico, then crossing to Hawaii and back home to work and school in Canada.
@@sailingmarmoris How exciting!! There are not enough videos out there of people returning north from Hawaii. Can’t wait to watch. What month was the video that you posted today from?
@@Trueblue1061 Ah yes... we are way behind on videos. This was November 2023. We are in Hawaii right now for another month, then home to Canada. We will try to make a good video of the return trip eventually!
Drill holes in boat. A running Sam Holmes comment.
Hi Marmoris, you remind me our trip from Canada to Türkiye.Year 2012 we bought our 84 model Sceptre 41’ in Brentwood BC. and made same big left turn in to the Pacific Ocean..After leaving Juan de Fuca and Port Renfrew we heded to San Francisco.Hawaii islands,Majuro Marshall islands,Micronesia,Kosrae Ponape then Palau.Overhaul our engine in Samal island ,Philippines. Then we sail to Malaysia,Singapoor strait and to Langkawi .I sail from there singel handed to Türkiye over Sirilanka Maldives ,Sokotra ,Redsea Eritrea,Sudan ,Egypt,Suez channel and Est Mediterranean.Arrived to Türkiye in 2017 May. I wish you the same long distance voyages.Have fun keep going, best regards from Türkiye ❤😊
What is your boat? I am in the market to buy a boat for solo sailing.
It’s a 2004 Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 49. You can see a bit more about our purchase here: ruclips.net/video/auJHdlS7WVI/видео.html
I watch Zataras every week as well. One day ill be there to
Love new sailing channels, to see their adventures. I would love to do the same one day. Just subscribed
Welcome aboard! Thanks for subscribing 😀
sailing Nahoa
what app did you use to check into the US?
The CBP Roam app.
Work & play! Do one well, and you get to do the other. Got to have that power-- glad to see you'll have more of it. Good idea also to have a backup mechanic onboard. Too bad about the sword! I was hoping that one of your boys would prove to be the true king? Approaching now the tropics, with its prolific life and beauty.
really, i live in tecate baja california,, 🥰🥰😘❤❤❤
Can anyone tell me if this is evergreen ? Thank you 😊😊🥰🥰
Catalina Island, aka Foxy Hills? Sure were a lot of foxes (I think) in those hills you climbed. Cute fellas. I assume that the 5pm honks and bells were to summon the lords and ladies to the banquet? A fun stop. I hope you experienced at least some difficulty spending your money, given that dad's financial plan was spoiled.
One tshirt each and we got outta there 😀 💸
@@sailingmarmoris A tshirt is often the one thing I bring back from a festival trip.
love you guys, amazing video, very beautiful place that island😍🥰🥰🥰❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks for watching!
Hi Marmoris, first timer in your channel, you are a beautiful sailors` family, enjoy your crossing all the way down to Mexico, congrats, Blessings
Welcome aboard, thanks for watching!
So fun watching you guys!
Miss you all!!!
Happy to see your journey continue, with a fun island explore. Pretty sunrise 8:00... 8:23. Glad there wasn't a prehistoric sea monster in that cave. Kite surfing went well-- nice going, mom! Expect the whole family will be doing it soon.
Glad you enjoyed it thanks for watching!
Great launch!! Did you use that weird little clip thing I made you for this? If you have an ikea bag closer they can keep your lines straight when you are done.
Sure did! That clip is the hot ticket for boat launching!
Epic adventure you guys!! Happy Birthday to Eli!
How beautiful is this boat! Cruz’in in style.
Stunning!!
Thanks for sharing “from the ocean” as you sailed by my neck of the woods! Crescent City is surrounded by redwoods - Jedediah Smith State Park is north up 199 maybe 20 min.
Thanks for watching!
Sheesh that drone really chewed!!
Sheesh that drone really chewed!!
All healed up nicely now!
Love those smooth drone shots over the beaches!! Wow 🤩
Drone secret: just push the stick forward 🤣 Miss you guys!
Again, it's nice that you take time to enjoy the novelties that each spot along the way has to offer. Many cruisers yearn to adopt this approach, but somehow time pressures creep in. And all the crew members so lively. Keep being creative with the drone camera and you'll be pros by the time you reach the really spectacular places. Hmm.. we'll have to see if you get into trouble on this next stop...
Thanks! We haven’t lost the drone yet, although I’d love an excuse to get a newer model 😀
In Sweden we will call you SunShineSailors.
Yes we only like to sail when it’s comfortable 😀 Thanks for watching!!!
Fightertown USA home of top gun is in Miramar just north of San Diego
We go there next! Thanks for watching!
Whale encounters! Nice perspectives of the Golden Gate. And lots of interesting places to explore you found. Loved that arcade. 'Old fashioned' games such as pinball, typically having moving parts or requiring dexterity, are much better than these virtual-reality graphics generators that mesmerize the youth today. Alcatraz is certainly interesting. Liked the old ship. Young ones getting loads of stimulation and exercise... and toast.
Hahaha yes, lots of toast. We could have spent months exploring the SF area but there are more adventures ahead!
Great work guys. Hugh & Heather, ARGONAUTA I
Thanks and thanks for watching!
Looks like fun. What is your sailing destination?
The plan is Mexico, Hawaii, and back to Canada if all goes well! Thanks for watching!
@@sailingmarmoris Wow that will be quite the journey! We will stay tuned especially for the passage from Hawaii back to Canada. Not too many people video that route. My husband and I are hoping to sail once we retire in a couple years. We are from Canada as well. How exciting for you to build these memories with your kids.
Haven’t seen Dolos’es in a while. That what we have in South Africa for breakwaters. Great to get another Marmoris Video!
Hey that’s cool that you remember them from South Africa! We did notice the sign said they were developed in SA. Thanks for watching!
@@sailingmarmoris They are shaped like caltrops, 4 points, so no matter how it lands it forms a three point base with one point up. The reason they use this shape for breakwaters is that when they are dumped together the pieces interlock making it harder for the waves to shift the wall. Rewatching the footage, the larger/taller shapes are the dolos'es the ones with the shorter legs are tetrahedral.
Enjoying your adventures. I was just going to say that your excursion to visit the awesome Redwoods was worth the trip (wow at 17:13)... and then your bus back was cancelled!? Not cool... sore legs. Yeah, it just isn't right (20:54) that the lady at the seal rescue wouldn't contribute to your salmon rescue project. lol Hope you'll soon have Whale sightings to share.
Thanks for watching! The walk makes up for all the sitting around on the boat!
Should warn you seals are shark food. Not wise to be in the water with especially further south in great white territory.
We will be super careful to watch for sharks! Thanks for watching!
you guys are funny!!!!!!
You Guys totally rock! - Great sarcasm. - you guys are the worst! (sarcasm). - THE OPPELS
I totally agree
