    I am trying to make a lithophane and ordered the filaments, led board and printed the frame and diffuser. Unfortunately I ordered the 96x144 2 pc board kit. Due to the design of the boards they do not fit the frame I printed. I cannot find a proper frame anywhere online, either on MakerWorld, Reddit or any other site, that fits the 2 pc board design. The connections on the 2 pc boards are different than the 1 pc board so the frame will not accommodate them. I am not good at 3d design so can't make changes or design a new frame myself. Do you have any suggestions?

      Sorry I forgot to comment on that actually.. It looks better in real life than it does on camera. The recorded footage over-exposes it a bit. That being said it still isn't a sharp image that it produces to be honest. It really depends on the artwork you select - it needs to have good contrast but also be somewhat vibrant in color to get the best results.

    I thinks it's better to keep printing plastic scrapers than using the metal razor. The last thing you want to do is scratch your bed plate. Plastic is a lot more forgiving.

    • @Creatorrific

      100% agree. The scraper should only be used on the non-textured build plates. Plastic scrapers are what I always use unless I switch.

    Very professional video and I needed some of those files. Thank you. Regarding the AMS on top of the gantry-- I may be the only one in the world who worries about it, but I don't like mounting spool holders on top of any of my printers. It's almost a certainty that the amount of mass in those devices will accentuate movement from the bed and other moving parts adversely affecting the precision of the prints. I could be wrong. The mass may actually serve as dampers instead, improving your prints. Maybe an engineer will chime in. Subbed and liked.

    • @Creatorrific
      @Creatorrific 20 дней назад

      Thanks for your support! I'm glad that you liked the video.. It doesn't hurt to air on the side of caution - if you have desk space available go ahead and setup the AMS beside your printer. Personally, I didn't notice any difference in the print quality when top-mounted.. It would use up some filament but you can also try and compare.

    I would love to see an AMS Lite mount that actually mounts it upside down. Is it just me or is it a real pain feeding the filament into those ports where you can't see them? The regular AMS is SO much easier. Take me seconds to put in a new spool on my X1C and minutes to do it on my A1. Most of that time is spent fumbling with unseen entry port.

    • @Creatorrific
      @Creatorrific 22 дня назад

      It can definitely be annoying at times trying to feed filament through the AMS Lite. I guess both have their quirks and advantages.

      Thank you so much, glad you enjoyed the video! The filament that I used was white PLA meta from Sunlu. I really find nothing that is a "Mandatory" upgrade so far on any of the Bambu printers...

    great and clear videos. One question for the A1 ams top mount, how are you finding it with stability and structural integrity with all the weight on the frame of the printer? Considering the A1 with the AMS, but looking at possible solutions for horizontal space issues that I currently have. So wondering how it holds up with the top mount?

    after installing the printer. i know why the heat bed cable kept breaking. it is due ot the design of the printer. the fact that the cable is in the way of the sliding back plate you have to move which catches the cable every time you have to maintain or even initially build the item in the first place. the printer is a POS and they need to redesign all of it to make it actually user friendly. what a waste of money, my flashforge ad5m was a much better investment.
