Some milestones and what i intend to to when I reach them:
1000 subs - New project will start, I have a boat from 1969 that I will try to start it when I hit 1000 subscribers. It has not been started since 2008!!
I also have a 1960-ies 18 feet sea surveyor boat that I will start to refurbish and outfit

BOAT WINTERIZATION - STEP TWO - PREPARING FOR THE LIFT
A swedish brother teaching me about boat works, instant subscription! Fedt mand, tak! 👌😊
You didn’t show how to install the big bellows sorry video. I believe connecting to the aft part first because it’s near impossible to connect them. when the bell housing is down the bellows is pressing against the forward opening and it would be easier to install. I would think removing the bell housing completely is the best way.
It’s obvious your just going to talk for the sake of talking , I’m out
You should tap them withot the feeler gauge inserted, it's for measurement only and prevents the adjustment if you have it there. You'll damage the electrode doing what you did.
Music too load to watch or hear what’s going on.
Just replace them stop talking
The clip goes on the bottom, they're there to keep ti from slipping off when the outdrive is all the way up
Thanks for that. I didn't think about that
Did this fix the dieing when coming off idle?
One of the better ones of this maneuver
GREAT JOB!!
On a scale from 1 to 10 how hard is this job?
Such a cool video man and excellent skills 👏👏😎
I'm having crank no start issue. I have spark everything. Would the oik pressure sender unit prevent ecu letting injectors spray?
Don’t think so. Engine has no oil pressure untiil it runs so it needs to allow start first. I think those systems get activated by generator current. Do ypu get enough fuel?
if theres no oil pressure there is no corrent for the gasoline pump and the engin wont start. theres a low oil pressure sensor with 2 wires on the right side of the engine with also a oil gauge sender with only one wire. you must jump the 2 wieres from the low oil presure sensor turn que key and you will listen to the gasoline pump working and the engine sould start and you can buy a new sensor, if you dont listen the gasoline pump working theres something wrong with it or the wires. the oil presure sensor on the back side of the engine as shown here is only for the buzzer alarme.
when you start de engine, the fuel pump is permanently on?
Yes. Fuel pump runs continuously
With key in on position or only when cranking?
Hit that mf harder! 😂
Un video chulo, como van conectados los cables? No se apecian en el vídeo.gracias un saludo
Also the thermostat?
Where's the temperature sensor sending unit?
Hi.Nice job.Which type of glass and thickness they made?I asume it’s tempered…It’s better than laminated? What in case of breakage? Thank you
Hi, it was a 4mm tempered blue-ish non-laminated glass. In case of breakage it will shatter like all tempered glass.
The hard part of this is the insanely distracting and unnecessarily loud music. This would have been so much better if you had the music off.
Can you wire to autopilot
Now you need to winterize again unless there’s no more risk of freezing? Why did you need to start the engines with no outdrive…were you diagnosing something? if that’s the case you didn’t need to add the water if you were just gonna start it up right quick and turn it off.
Clearly an IO. No wheel on the inboards.
so bad, how to totally not explained
You didnt want to say anything about the paint you used...?
It is recommended to use the original Mercruiser/Quicksilver paint, primer and clear coat.
6:31 to 6:38 what are you doing captain 😂 starboard forward i think you wrong you need to wait momentum
What kind of material did you use to fill up the aluminium?
Hi. I used chemical metal.
@@nordicDIYchannel Thanks, some people on an boat forum recommended JB Weld for aluminum.
I have a 33 year old boat, 20 year old outdrives. I’ll be repainting them this winter. What paints did viewers use?
So going away from dock you go port forward and turn wheel towards dock rt? You go too fast for most of us. I use the sticks and just go port forward and starboard reverse and that gets me off the dock usually
Hi, so the principle is to push and pull in "rotation centre" of the boat. So going towards the dock I put starboard in forward and turn starboard. Then put port in reverse and turn port. Going away from the dock is port in forward and turn port . Then put starboard in reverse and turn starboard. This is how the joystick boat do it but they use a computer and also turn the drives independently.
Did you figure out the top end hesitation?
Hi, no, I need to continue my troubleshooting and check fuel lines for air leaks, carburetors, sparkplugs etc. More content on that coming up.
Awsome idea. I have been buying the big tubs every winter.
Glad to see you back!!
$1200? Holy shit that’s a lot of money. I’ll be doing mine myself as well
I don’t see how you put aluminum o ring on bellow??
A guy driving a boat and NOT troubleshooting anything.....useless video
What wires do you have going to your oil pressure switch? Where does the black wire lead?
Need to see the controls lol
Sorry mate you are not a marine mechanic and you should not be instructing anybody. I wonder why you would start this nonsense I
Hey I need to do this too, where did you purchase the aluminum framing and glass?
Stupid just like the person from the video
Why doesn't anybody start this video with the initial disassembly?! Smh
Ok for a novice
Sunbralla? How about?
Great video. What oil pump did you use
Hi. I used a cheap electric pump that actually started leaking. So i replaced it with this type of pump which also broke in the hose connection but still works fine. :-) www.amazon.com/sspa/click?ie=UTF8&spc=MTo0ODgxOTQ1MDIzNzk4NTUzOjE2ODczMzY2MDE6c3BfYXRmOjIwMDAyNDY4OTM1MjIxMTo6MDo6&url=%2FEWK-Pneumatic-Changer-Extractor-Remover%2Fdp%2FB06WD64H8Z%2Fref%3Dsr_1_2_sspa%3Fcrid%3D2U03Y3UYF4N00%26keywords%3Doil%2Bsuction%2Bpump%2Bextractor%26qid%3D1687336601%26sprefix%3Doul%2Bsuct%252Caps%252C187%26sr%3D8-2-spons%26sp_csd%3Dd2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY%26psc%3D1
Mate I love your channel. Two things, for the snap buttons you need to use a press machine(also need to test them because most coming from China are not stainless) . Punching the snap buttons with a hammer doesnt work well - there is several channel promoting that stuff from sailrite and people don't say anything about it. For a good stitching, get one of those sailrite clones, they work very well.I sewed 3 layers with a thick clear in the middle and the machine sews through like breeze. You need to sew a strip of black vinyl on the edges of inside of the covers to add more strength. The way you have it, the clears will break loose from the fabric with a strong wind . I am making mine and it's a lot of trial and error but eventually I got them right. Maybe you can do later a non biased review of these sewing machines
Glad to see you back😊
That is the remote shift cable. Not the actual shift linkage cable.
to much music and not enough explaining. what are you using for materials, what equipment are you using to sew it up? Has anyone found a video of sewing canvas for a small boat where they actually explain what they are doing and why along with the materials and equipment used? I meed to make a bimini top and a canvas cover for the bow seats of my stingray bow rider.
Can you share a link to what the special tools are? Thank you!
