Terrible idea! Why would anyone go crazy LCD for retro gaming? 🤦🏽‍♂️

It was a copy of the Nintendo game and watch created in china in the 1980s. Still, it's marvelous how it can store games in lines of A-Z unlike having to buy separate game & watch consoles with the different games!

I live in Sweden and even though I had a Game Boy I ended up playing this almost as much. Still have it too ❤

In fact the engineers behind these bootlegs got hired all the time, sometimes after a little jail time and fine, of course but still. I wonder if anyone of these guys made it to the GBA port.

They did an amazing job for an unofficial 8-bit bootleg. Looks pretty close to the official GBA port IMHO.

Yes brick game used to be popular back in the day but not anymore it's not popular just like used to be in the 80's, 90s and early 2000s as well I think brick game is my favorite handheld i think it's a great alternative for some that can't not afford real true actual video game handheld and home console as well because we all know that real true actual gaming handheld was always expensive and the brick game handheld was cheaper so affordable i do wish real true actual video game hardware was that affordable cheaper too bad it's not i think brick game handheld is so underrated now i think it was the best great handheld portable fun to me so far i love it so much the plastic wasn't bad to me the plastic of the brick game, buttons and the games themselves was great to me i have no issues with it that's just me i would love to see brick game make a comeback one day with next gen brick game handheld successor but this time the birck our like tiny pixels just like we see in tv's and other video game handhelds with improvements it also having color as well it has the optional to change it to color mune or no color without no color at all and it also having backlight as well and i just look up that there is an upgrade new one that is called CZT mega brick backlight i do also want to support that by getting that on amazon

I was lucky enough to stay with a family in Moscow in 1990. I remember how spartan the city was. We had a reel to reel tape recorder with lots of Beetles stuff from the 1960's and 70's. I did not see a single computer or television. I think you are amazing that you have built this collection up from all you remember as a youngster. You are focused and obviously believe in what you are doing. I wish you all the best and hope it all goes well for you in the future.

What size is the pc crt?

We have a free pile every year that people come put stuff in that you can get free.theres 100s of crts.i took few pc.i moved so I do not have same luxury to go and pic free rare crts.

Man those viewing angles are terrible on that LCD, I know that's typical of LCD though, hope you find a CRT for it to make it decent again, LCD is pretty much useless for gaming on, especially retro games, too much lag, motion blur, terrible blacks, horrible colors and so on, Sony has a really nice 32" plasma EDTV that looks fantastic with 240p/480p, much better blacks/motion clarity than LCD, it also has very similar colors to CRT thanks to using the same type of phosphors CRT does, almost zero input lag too, they are kind of a well-kept secret as so few people know or mention them for retro gaming, great cheap alternative to CRT, 32" is a nice size too.

Where have you bought the converter? I have 3 of those boards and none of them work. Always sync problems

Last year I was on the phone with Camille talking about our experiences trying to build up a museum in our respective area, and suddenly my wife yield at me "Help Oliver! Help !!" So i rushed outside in the garden to see what was happening, and there was this big wolf-like dog in our chicken coop ! The chickens were very scared and so was my wife and children. I had to run towards the big dog and shoot very loud to scare it ! Meanwhile... I was still on the phone with Camille as I didn't have the time to hang up ! Camille didn't really know what was happening and thought we were all being attacked by wolves, me and my family, whil he couldn't do anything about it as he was hundreds of kilometers away. "It was like in scary movies" he said :-)

I am like a broken record, but if you go with flat screen replacement explore using CRT shaders (look especially good on 4K) and run-ahead lag reduction (thru Retroarch). If you refuse to go the emulation route I guess these aren't options.

When we moved out of our house around when I was 7, they had to put up another wallpaper in my room, because I had ruined it with a massive collage of bubble gum stickers on it. I wish I had a photo of the collage before it was taken down, it would have been cool! ~Saks
