Hey maybe mic the amp and turn it up so we can hear the pickups over the string noise. I love bareknuckle and fender pick ups and there is definitely a difference on the cleans. As soon as you put them through fuzz/over drive the pick up choice doesnt matter though. The difference between those pick up choices really comes downs to the companies making them. Bareknuckle is a small team of people with great quality control, fantastic customer service and lots of customization options and Fender is a corporation who leaves you on "read" when your telecaster shows up in the mail with unsolderd pick ups (actually happened to me). You quite literally get what you pay for

I guess like most guitars they can often be the same model but different out of the Factory. I had no issues with the guitar at all no problems like tarnishing and the Headstock binding seems fine to my eyes . I can't say I've noticed any slogger on the bridge I'm going to check that again. Tuners are fine I don't see any reason to change them ATM they seem decent, but we all get tempted to add a few upgrades so hey! One thing for sure is the Tone Controls are poor they just basically on or off no gradual increase or decrease so they need to be changed. I did have to alter tweak the truss and bridge height and the bridge pickup needed lowering a shade. I'm no expert however so I will take this to a luthier friend of mine who can check this out and get it to it's optimum and definitely change out those pots. Of course we need to remember if we change parts we can invalidate the warranty. Thank you for your thorough review. Maybe you could suggest tone Pot upgrades? Many thanks .

Mine came with a card that was stamped with quality checks and it was set up as well. It was the same as the one I ordered as well. The quality appears to be inconsistent with some makers and suppliers.

Just heard of this brand recently. The AIO LP copy's on their website look to have a bound neck and abalone on both neck and body binding and the headstock shape is different. They look awesome but it makes me wonder what I would get of I ordered one. I think I'll hold on to my Agile 3100. It's also a great guitar(albeit very heavy) and I'm not sure if the AIO would be an upgrade. Are the AIO's heavy? I also have an Epiphone LP and it's lighter, probably because it's a maple veneer instead of a 1/4 inch solid cap like the Agile.

So not only a fake but a destroyed finish too, why would anybody want to buy this. POS

Kemper user here and after all the hype about tonex I couldn’t not buy the tonex one . So far my opinions are . It’s noisy terrible gate ,average comp basic reverb . terrible terrible software , ficking through presets on tone net is a drag compared to kemper So slow and tedious. Has it got decent profiles yes if you spend some time looking . Kemper is a much more professional unit software is great everything is stable . Yes it’s old but so is a lexicon , eventide ect . Pro’s are it’s not ten times the price and fit’s in your pocket . I am going to give it a go at a rehearsal and see how it goes hopefully the noise isn’t too much of a problem. I think they’ll probably get there act together software wise at some point but atm is clunky af . All that said it could sit a the end of a board with some nice pedals with one or two amp sounds a do a great job although I haven’t tried that yet . The only reason you would get rid of your kemper for one of these is if you ran into financial difficulties.

Dude how can you compare these pickups the way you are playing!! When you play clean is like you are plucking the strings, then you play chords with high gain on a NECK PICkUP!!

If your spending more than 1k for a guitar you just want that particular guitar. AIO is one of the better budget brands and definitely compete with others that are 10x the price.

I just got my Black Strat by Fender Squier Debut, and I like it... I'll change the pickguard and knobs for an aged white one to match the new pickups, and it will then become an HSS... it's my fourth Strat... I had an American class of 96, a Squier Classic Vibe, and a beautiful Mexican one... all gone now to other happy people. I think I'm marrying this one! 😊

I’ve got 4 AIO guitars, every single one was totally worth much more than they’re charging. I HIGHLY recommend them. As a lefty, they definitely accommodate with MOST styles being available left handed.

I just received my Sonic from Guitar Center for $146 + $8 tax out the door and delivered in three days to my doorsteps and so far, it seems flawless. The frets are a little sharp and the provided strings a bit too light for my taste while the cord amp plug output jack is exhibiting the typical and expected loose connection characteristics that Strats have always been known for since day one, but the intonation and height level of the strings were within range, while overall, it accomplishes what it was set out to be. The issues mentioned are minor, and most buyers will not be bothered by them, or others will easily and virtually cheaply rectify them. I experienced none of those things mentioned in the video so either the one provided for the review was an exception to the rule or mine was regarding its fit and finish and as I used to be a perfectionist, I've grown old and long since come to live with small things seemingly inconsequential. Again, small and/or inconsequential to me and me only and so I speak for myself and no one else. The only problem I have, which I also have with my standard older Strat, is the width of the fretboard. I never hear this from others and in fact always hear the ease of playability with Strats, but I must be the one in a billion that find I cannot move as fluently on them as with my Hamer, Rickenbacker 325, Gibson ES 335 and Les Paul Custom. I myself find this quite strange and odd, but it is what it is. Concluding, with the above stated, I still highly recommend this instrument for both beginners and more advanced alike. I understand that these are Chinese made, but like most offshore products today, they are engineered and designed by the Large American companies and the Chinese manufacturers must follow every standard and step that the American Corporate counterparts give them otherwise chancing 100% loss of their contracts and to date, I know of no foreign manufacturers contracted with large American companies having done that. There is nothing severely wrong with this guitar model that the price doesn't stave off buyer's remorse while some fine tuning from anyone with any semblance of luthier skills wants will be unable to attune the product to their likings. Ciao.

I got one of the green esquires last month for 159. it was worth every penny I was shocked so I just bought a yellow strat for 159 right from Fender. You don't have to worry about taking your older vintage guitars out. You can use these and play them anywhere. Thanks, and thank you sir for posting about these. 0:25

Problem with import , plus shipping etc etc that’s why nobody’s buy them. An Epiphone is imop the same thing…. Ok it’s Japanese but only afficionados will get it. You have more chance for resale with épi. Olive all my Gibson and they retain their values. I buy one American a year at my bday it is my treat. But it is a nice guitar I had one , pickup are not hot at all , they’re great for punk and rockabilly ❤❤

FGNs are great, I visited the factory a few years back. But I sold my FGN LS20s and kept my Gibson Custom Shops. My problem with FGN was the poly finish and i freakin hate seymour duncan pickups.

I got lucky and procured an Eart EGLP512 which has the Gibson headstock, binding around the body, coil taps. stainless steel frets, and weighs 8lbs. I compared it to my friends $5000 custom LP and it held it's own in every way. My friend literally tried to buy it from me on the spot but it's a keeper with lots of mojo so it's staying with me. Not bad for $400.

$3000? Dude, I'm spending $10K+ on multiple LP's... mostly special editions, all from Custom Shop... Japanese would be the only Asian alternative I'd consider, but there's something about having a USA made Gibson, that's hard to move past... emotionally dimension.

I've owned great Edwards, FGNs, and a Tokai that trumped or at least matched my Gibsons in almost every way for a fraction of the price. The Japanese brands are no joke.

My last usa les paul was only 850 used. I’m happy with it. But japan does make killer stuff. My best non american guitar was a fujigen ibanez

Tokai does the best actual high end replicas with outstanding craftmanship and material .. thier custom shop hand builds ( as does the entire facility ) but at master builder levels ..

Like everything else there are so many options for LP style guitar 🎸 models which I need a breather from push pull pots. I've fell in love with Japanese guitars since I can't afford American and still get good quality.

I love my Fujigen Mighty Jazz. All my Japanese instruments have immaculate Fingerboards. Check Ishibashi and Kinko Music if you're interested.

It's only a $200 guitar, so I wouldn't expect much. They say that these guitars are for beginners, but you will need a set up. I own one that's about 10 years old and it's much heavier than 7lbs. It's a really good guitar after a bit of fixing it. I know it's cheap, but it's still a fun guitar. I don't have to worry about if it gets scratched or nicked. I appreciate your video it's honest.

Which model Fender Mustang are you running? Sounds great. Are you miking it? Or plugging straight into it?
