@@Harvz78 they used to be all over ebay, but not lately, theres also another site that sells them, I believe its called NitroRCX.

I did a couple things, I enlarged the hole in the chasis and I machined the engine mounts in order to lower the engine just enough for the starter box wheel to touch the flywheel.

@@knockout35189 honestly they are both great, the cool thing about the buggy is that you can run it almost anywhere. However, the on road car is definitely faster.

I have the same problem....I removed the .5mm inserts from the engine mount and still it's to high....there doesn't seem to be any alternative other than grind the chassis away??

@@michaelinzitari when the engine of my vs2 failed, they sent me a new one without asking any questions. Ibwas impressed by the service, but this time around with the MT, they never responded to me, either by email or facebook. Not sure whats going on.

@bustednutsrc around double or more, I do travel for work a lot so if I'm in the US or Canada I will pick one up. Most RC stuff is cheap but other brands are marked up too much.

@bustednutsrc I was just in japan for a 2 week work trip. I went to Super Rajikon in Tokyo. The place had so much, and it's way cheaper and tax-free. So I got a ton of spares and hop ups for a bunch of my RC's, and a Candy Green Grasshopper as I had one as a kid, and the green is rare.

@@kanenstuff oh that sounds awesome! I have never been to Japan but its definitely on my list! I saw a video about super rajikon, thats pretty awesome.

@ can’t wait to see more videos of this truck don’t get me wrong I used to have similar issues with the tuning like you but I spoke to another rc RUclipsr who has this truck as well told me that ever since he richened the low speed it worked out well for him and I tried it on mine so far no issues.

@bustednutsrc how much did you get? I see pricing started to rise. I have a lot of money on mine, wondering what mines worth. It's high mileage tho but doesn't look like it nor does it leak lol

@barfly246 I let mine go a little low in my opinion, sold it for 11k. Low-ish miles, tons of money into it. But I started working in the Arctic and it virtually never got driven, plus I needed money for all the Arctic gear I needed to buy. Oh well 🥴

@BenshobbyStuff I'm not a fan of any LRP engines personally, but that one was free with amain points, so I figured why not.

It's a 2 speed, however the transmission doesn't work

Through their US website parts are available, however I don't like the fact that after placing sn order there's no confirmation or shipping alerts of any kind. But, you can always buy parts through amainhobbies.com they have been awesome to me.

You are right, not a lot of smoke however its harder to see on the video compared to real life. I ran it slightly on the lean side, the turbo .30 engine is extremely finicky to tune (at least in my experience) and this tune it had during the video was literally the only way it ran properly and revved up enough to shift into 2nd gear. Good eye though. More videos coming in the coming days!

@mark737-c4x Hey there, no mine didn't have any grinding or rough spots on the differentials. It felt smooth, I would definitely open that up and check the differential just to be sure.
