I was fortunate enough to fly with my favorite pilot ~ LeDrib ~ (Drew) in Detroit at the King of Band Lands, & several of my favorite spots watching him fly! Detroit Bando's are no joke, as my Alien 5" was destroyed by the end of the day. I would do it all over again when the chance comes. Testing Kiss FC with Dshot 600 outside of Rural Oregon. Hard to get some time in between the rain. About the 6th flight on the Alien 5 kit from Rotor Riot. Really happy with this build.
Had one stuck yesterday had just enough room to drill a hole vertically in the front. I ran a punch through it, wrapped Chain around the punch, sprayed with w-d 40 then had my hydraulic lift pull on the chain. Hit the sleeve with a hammer at tension, and boom baby it came out. That was a project and a half to get it out of there and hope I don't have to again. I like the idea you had here and was about to do the same.
