I know Akira is the og and all, but I think Invincibles laser was fucking badass, and looked way more destructive. Akiras zaps off Tetsuos arm.. meanwhile all thats happens to Omni-Man after getting lasered TWICE is a nose bleed...a 400 billion dollar nose bleed.

During the Akira scenes you can hear the dub in the background of the sub haha.

Anyways, I decided to boot up Minecraft to make sure the merge worked, and I discovered I had a world from February of 2022. I decided to check it out. As the chunks loaded in, I was amazing at all the new things Minecraft had added since I stopped regularly playing the game circa 2019. I was aware about a lot of new things, but it never really sunk into my head HOW different the game now was.

In terms of how affective it was the one that hit tetsuo blew off his arm apart but the one with Omni man just gave him a nose bleed so it’s pretty obvious who wins there

If the SOL from invincible was used to kill Tetsuo He would have instantly died and the movie ended after his death Because Tetsuo is not as invulnerable as Omni-Man

If the hammer gave a Viltrumite a nosebleed, it would have destroyed Tetsuo... In SOL's defense, Akira's scientists never had to consider an enemy that wasn't ultimately human.

Akira's SOL looks WAY more badass, even the strikes are better. First time I saw Akira, I bet I was 5 years old and I knew it was good. Ive never been a fan of anime, Akira and Lupin III are the only exceptions. Akira mostly, the talent and determination it must've taken to put that movie together... I don't have the words lol even after 25 years, I'm impressed every time I watch it(has to be hundreds of times by now)
