I actually took the bulb from my original door panel so I didn't actually purchase it from anywhere I took it from the original window switch I hope this explains and take care

I metered out the Wire going to the reverse lights and I tapped into that wire and that's how I got my reverse lights the ground wire goes to a Bare metal part of the car and the Power goes to the reverse light I hope this helps and take care

OK, I missed that bit at the start of the video. With the wiring spliced into blue wire for the reversing lamp do you get an error messages on the dash? I was advised by someone on the Volvo forum that the current is monitored and having an extra draw on the current might bring up an error code.

I've had 0 Error messages with the parking sensors I'm not sure on facelift V70,s but certainly the Pre facelift V70,s I've been running this for 3 Years now and still had no issues I hope this explains and take care

@@PhilDykshoorn I actually run Fully synthetic Engine oil on all my Cars I'm running 5W-30 Fully synthetic engine oil in my 2002 Volvo V70 and I'm running the same oil in my 2003 Saab 9-5 Aero my V70 has 265,000 Miles and My Saab 9-5 has 79,000 Miles And I've had no issues with either of those cars I hope this helps and take care

Needs to be the right oil if the cars got a dpf. Definitely not non synthetic.

It was Fully synthetic the oil was bought from Halfords and if you look up this oil it will tell you it's fully synthetic I wouldn't run conventional oil with a DPF anyway but I hope this explains and take care

​@@JoeSibCars100%, my comment was in relation to the previous one. Thanks for your video. I should changing the oil on my V70 myself as well.

l asked the Volvo dealership here in Canada about this issue several months ago, and the response they gave me is stick with recommended conventional oil for the v70. l guess they do have to protect themselves because what is recommended for the car is what holds. My car is running fine [2003] and l religiously change it, while checking every week for oil level [as noted before, the car seems to burn oil over a period of time but no oil leaks].

I haven't changed the bushings in the subframe and that goes for the front and Rear I did try subframe bushing inserts and they just Creeked so I removed them from the subframe bushes But the car drives nicely now and take care

For P2 Volvo,s it's normal for them to use oil my 2002 Volvo V70 2.4 Non Turbo uses about 1 Litre every 1,000 Miles I check my oil every 2 Weeks or 500 Miles or after a Long run I regularly check I'm Pretty sure the Green Volvo V70 2.5 Turbo Uses oil But that would burn faster as it's going through a hot turbo But As far as I know all P2 Volvos use oil I hope this helps and take care

I quite like the colour as well but I prefer Silver but I wouldn't mind owning a car that colour or Blue or even Grey but I certainly don't like the Bright blue or Red or Gold there the colours I don't like Take care

@@JoeSibCars Here in North America, only 4 colours offered for v70s. Metallic red, black, silver, champagne (gold)... of which metallic red is the least common.

I meant to have said Champagne Gold yeah they offer quite a few colours in the UK I see quite a few Green ones driving around in the UK and other colours

I was told that the car had never had a Cambelt replacement there was no history with the car the owner wanted to make sure everything was up to spec So that's why I changed it

Hi I did replace the Serpentine Belt as I didn't feel comfortable putting that one back on I did confirm it with the owner beforehand and they were okay with it so I fitted one I hope this explains and take care

I know I wasn't sure if it would come a couple of Years ago I went to replace the Turn stop and the bolt snapped in the wishbone so I tried to Drill it out and the Drill bit snapped in the Wishbone and I tried a Short threaded Bolt but that snapped out and I almost lost my new turn stop So I Went to the Scrapyard and I bought another wishbone with the Ball joint and the Knuckle Joint with the Wheel Bearing and I just replaced that as an assembly so after I fitted all of that I took it for an MOT and that was when I got an advisory and on the original knuckle the ball joint was worse this didn't feel too bad when i put it on if you looked at the colour difference you would see that the wishbone didn't come from this car at the same time as replacing the knuckle and wishbone i also Replaced the Gearbox and Clutch and slave cylinder the clutch and slave cylinder was new the gearbox was Second hand but car is running good now Take care

@@ronanbrookes7125 no I didn't have to bleed the brakes the Brake servo is just filled with Air from the Engine vacuum the servo uses engine vacuum to make the Brake pedal lighter to press you are not disturbing the hydraulic Brake Fluid so no Bleeding is needed unless you were replacing the brake master cylinder or brake line or ABS pump Other than that bleeding is not needed I hope this helps and take care
