Honky Tonk Man BURIES Chief Jay Strongbow
Always hated chief Joe scarpa
It' really no big secret Honky hated Strongbow with a passion. When Raw went back to WWE and had their homecoming show in Dallas and had all of these legends there, Honky ripped it apart and said about Strongbow, "I wish I had been there to kick him in the fuckin' nuts because he's a sorry son of a bitch!".
please turn commenting on your others videos lol. the uw comments on sid are a total crock!
This guy was such an awful human being to every single person he had to deal with in the wrestling industry. You don't hear very many good stories about him. After watching this interview, I understand why.
I can tell you this - I went off the med school in Georgia - I am away from home - a bit homesick but not admitting that to anyone - first month I am living there - i read there is a pro wrestling match at the local arena - who is on the card? - Strongbow - now i grew up watching him on TV and seeing him at the local arena from my home town - I was able to say hi to the Chief and he was a nice guy to me - and it made my home sickness go away - it was like seeing a family member - i now hear negative stuff about him but if you were a kid growing up with him back in the day he was a positive force
I grew up watching the Dog. He was a much loved heel. Only 5'7" and 220 and 230 lbs but tough as nails.
That’s a plane ride from hell. Maddog, how did your meeting with the In-laws go?
Mad Dog (Maurice )was my favorite when I was about 8 ................. His brother Paul (Butcher) was good as well.
Gagne sounds more like MAD Dog than Mad Dog
The part of the story that's never been told is how did Mad Dog's meeting with his fiancé's parents go? He must have really made an impression being drunk and on Ludes ......
I didn’t realize how mean changing the order of the matches was until the stuff he said at the very end damn
Gregg that was a great imitation of mad dog.I grew up watching you guys in AWA.
The fact that this man didn't see a problem with kicking out of someone's finish tells you all you need to know.
Warrior 10 out of 10 HHH 6 out of 10
Warrior shoots straight Did he ever get to respond to hennan telling how andre chilled warrior out hehe
Everyone loved Gene.
Cornette is a f'n geek.
Patterson was no wrestler , had a big mouth and would always resort to fists
I've always wanted to buy the hell, did promoters Continue to do business with a guy that sabotaged their shows. Just because he got pissed off about something. Really? What he was doing was exposing the business. It's no different than what Peter Criss did with kiss back in 80, which is what got him fired. Sabotage in the show and I get that. He was a big draw. But I don't care how much of a draw you are if you're not gonna do business, then I don't fucking need you and he fucked over a lot of promoters. Just about every single one that he worked for at some pointornado. He'd fucked their business up so he should have been pushed out of the business real quick legend or not.
Warrior was the most protected star in WWE in terms of win loss record. He was WWE's Goldberg if you will and Goldberg before, well, Goldberg was cool. HHH might have been able to get twice the amount of time in this match with Warrior, or maybe an actual kickout from his finish if he hadn't pulled that nonsense with The Kliq in 1995. He was being punished for that because Shawn was the champion and the other two left. This match was part of the punishment. HHH wasn't even that big until DX and the Attitude Era. That version of HHH was not on Warrior's level. Listen to his reaction or lack thereof from the crowd. He got scattered boos, and that was about it. Regardless, this match was never going more than 5 minutes, even if HHH wasn't in WWE's doghouse, which he was because of the no-sell by Warrior. That was probably a last-minute instruction by Vince when he went out there.
Hide my wife and kids under trucks and shit…LOL
Warrior is actually pretty respectful here and seems to see HHH's position. But HHH was a mid card guy here so getting squashed is all he could expect.
It was supposed to be an 11-12 minute match - Bruce Prichard
Warrior buried HHH, so HHH decided to bury the world.😂
Im a fan of AWA big fan of high flyers. This put a smile on my face. These two need toake more videos.❤❤
I'm convinced mad dog was bipolar with some adhd mixed in
It's funny that Jim Brunzell is in this story, but not in a newer version Gagne tells. Maybe cause Brunzell says he wasn't on the plane 😂 Funny how you can't remember who was with you in a near death experience.
Steve olsonowski was my little league coach for 3 years
Bruce's nose is,so far up Vince's butt if Bruce needed to puck his nose Vince would have to open his mouth.
And then hhh meke himself a much bigger superstar than him when he says he's last goodbye the people make a reaction hhh still make the crowd going wild everytime he came out
Sad not one superstar wrestler showed up to Genes funeral so much for friendship
Mean Gene came off as everyone's friend or favor uncle, or both!!!! Really miss those times when we can just watch the WWF...... You never knew what was going to happen next!!!! Good times..
The Masked Superstar was awesome. I was happy when he had the face turn in Mid-Atlantic because he was already a favorite of mine. I saw him and Paul Jones wrestle Snuka and Stevens a couple of times for the world tag team titles and they blew the roof off. All of them. You believed back then because those guys made it real.
Ego. Enough said.
“I didn’t hear any suggestions…” *proceeds to confirm the entire story* LOL
He didn’t hear any suggestions in their initial conversation. Triple H didn’t have the balls to say what he wanted to do in the match, so he pretended to be okay with Warrior’s ideas and then ran off to get the teacher, Brisco, to intercede on his behalf, like a stooge.
Try developing some comprehension skills, mark
@@Redhotshawntexas Try developing some…
…”leaving your angry thoughts in a single comment” skills, doofus
This story alone makes it worth filming a whole biopic on Mad Dog lol. Such a unique wrestler and great man who had a tremendous influence on pro wrestling. The definition of old school. I think Mad Dog was one of the inspirations for Wolverine because they share similarities; a tough Canadian with a small stature, gravely voice and wild as hell. Greg's impersonation of him is uncanny. It's like he's possessed by Vachon in person. Literally a copy/paste. The way he tells the story is captivating and Jim's laughter is contagious. Jim's input is great too. He lets Greg tell his story, something a lot of interviewers forget to do with their guests nowadays.
BILL WAS ALWAYS A CLASS ACT.
"Gene Mean, vutevah!"- Shieky Baby
Man. These stories are golden
Even Bret said that Strongbow was a snitch lol.
Andre...Legend ❤
Warrior always gets buried but ive pretty much never heard him be wrong. And hes not wrong here
Fuck RUclips
lol what an asshole…and now Warrior can’t even tie HHH shoes as far as career wise
Greg Valentine said n a shoot Jay Strongbow fined him 5000 bucks for being late for a show.....he's dead now....won't b fining nobody else
Jay Strongbow....the fake indian
Yip!
As it's going off lol f--k him
Calling everyone the B team when he was there has to be the most comical thing he’s ever said
"Memories of the time I asked 'What are your thoughts?' about your memories?...."
It's good to hear someone go off on Chief Joe Crybaby Strongbow, he always annoyed me.... but he was not as annoying as the insufferable No Morals Pedro Morales. No Mas Morales had to be the most annoying thing on this planet.
