It' really no big secret Honky hated Strongbow with a passion. When Raw went back to WWE and had their homecoming show in Dallas and had all of these legends there, Honky ripped it apart and said about Strongbow, "I wish I had been there to kick him in the fuckin' nuts because he's a sorry son of a bitch!".

I can tell you this - I went off the med school in Georgia - I am away from home - a bit homesick but not admitting that to anyone - first month I am living there - i read there is a pro wrestling match at the local arena - who is on the card? - Strongbow - now i grew up watching him on TV and seeing him at the local arena from my home town - I was able to say hi to the Chief and he was a nice guy to me - and it made my home sickness go away - it was like seeing a family member - i now hear negative stuff about him but if you were a kid growing up with him back in the day he was a positive force

I've always wanted to buy the hell, did promoters Continue to do business with a guy that sabotaged their shows. Just because he got pissed off about something. Really? What he was doing was exposing the business. It's no different than what Peter Criss did with kiss back in 80, which is what got him fired. Sabotage in the show and I get that. He was a big draw. But I don't care how much of a draw you are if you're not gonna do business, then I don't fucking need you and he fucked over a lot of promoters. Just about every single one that he worked for at some pointornado. He'd fucked their business up so he should have been pushed out of the business real quick legend or not.

Warrior was the most protected star in WWE in terms of win loss record. He was WWE's Goldberg if you will and Goldberg before, well, Goldberg was cool. HHH might have been able to get twice the amount of time in this match with Warrior, or maybe an actual kickout from his finish if he hadn't pulled that nonsense with The Kliq in 1995. He was being punished for that because Shawn was the champion and the other two left. This match was part of the punishment. HHH wasn't even that big until DX and the Attitude Era. That version of HHH was not on Warrior's level. Listen to his reaction or lack thereof from the crowd. He got scattered boos, and that was about it. Regardless, this match was never going more than 5 minutes, even if HHH wasn't in WWE's doghouse, which he was because of the no-sell by Warrior. That was probably a last-minute instruction by Vince when he went out there.

Warrior is actually pretty respectful here and seems to see HHH's position. But HHH was a mid card guy here so getting squashed is all he could expect.

The Masked Superstar was awesome. I was happy when he had the face turn in Mid-Atlantic because he was already a favorite of mine. I saw him and Paul Jones wrestle Snuka and Stevens a couple of times for the world tag team titles and they blew the roof off. All of them. You believed back then because those guys made it real.

He didn’t hear any suggestions in their initial conversation. Triple H didn’t have the balls to say what he wanted to do in the match, so he pretended to be okay with Warrior’s ideas and then ran off to get the teacher, Brisco, to intercede on his behalf, like a stooge.

This story alone makes it worth filming a whole biopic on Mad Dog lol. Such a unique wrestler and great man who had a tremendous influence on pro wrestling. The definition of old school. I think Mad Dog was one of the inspirations for Wolverine because they share similarities; a tough Canadian with a small stature, gravely voice and wild as hell. Greg's impersonation of him is uncanny. It's like he's possessed by Vachon in person. Literally a copy/paste. The way he tells the story is captivating and Jim's laughter is contagious. Jim's input is great too. He lets Greg tell his story, something a lot of interviewers forget to do with their guests nowadays.
