This is helpful. The study material for the series 65 was seriously lacking on what we are supposed to do. It was mostly focused on securities law and general Wall Street economics. This investment advisor path reminds me of the mortgage broker license: we are taught mortgage law but never instructed on how to actually broker a loan. Both of these are cryptic career paths.

Thank you for the video and for sharing some methods of decision making which can apply to any big decision. I recently became an Enrolled Agent. It is not an easy program, lots of rote learning, test prep, and memorization across the 3 exams. I would add to the discussion: Don't forget about considerations regarding timing (frequent) and volume (a lot) of Enrolled Agent continuing education requirements. There are many ways to incorporate tax planning such as partnering with other EAs, advisers, or CPAs.
This is valuable. Please do more like this.

I think 5:54 is a double-edged sword. Historic wealth for women who are educated assumes a type of comingling variable in certain kinds of cultural stability that don't quite exist given the dysphoria, drug use, and inefficient majors that many men and women choose in the present college environment. Don't count patriarchies (male-led household economies) out as a predictor for long-term wealth. Doesn't mean you have to limit yourself to male or female clients; but I think the data in that direction may end up missing or downplaying men who are tired/wary of marriage, and who may outperform their cohorts of women in the workforce if singly focussed.
