For number 5 you can cheese this by just tap shooting the ballons. It doesn't need a full charge. A tap shot is enough which saves ink and time.

I fought Big Man before I knew you could destroy torpedoes...so you can imagine how that went 😅

The one I hated the most was the one where your shooting targets on a rail and you have to use a bow, also you get like 5 lives in that level. I HATE it with a passion

I didn't know about the radar but I didn't struggle at all with big man at all in fact I beat him first try the only thing that made me struggle in the single player was the one with the bow where if you fail you have to start from the very beginning

My rating/review: #10: dance hall was easy when my completionist brain stopped trying to get all the power egg packs. Definitely a more difficult one. #9: valid, I hated dapple dualies with this one way more than squiffer #8: it was honestly REALLY easy, especially with an automatic. I found squiffer more difficult because it would sometimes drop and hit the fail balloons. Cleared it first try though Also falling off the stage sounds like a skill issue man, unless you have stick drift then rest in peace 🙏 #7: this one was really easy too, probably one of the easiest of the ride rail target levels #6: yeah this one was stressful, but I never died once cause I ignored all the Octarians and just beelined it to the goal. #5 yeah this one was REAL hard. It was only after I learned about my bombs existing that I totally sweeped the level after I started using burst bombs to hit the multi balloons. #4: This one was also really easy, I feel that #5 should be higher than this one. E literally was slow but really helped with clearing the long hallways of eggs. #3: yeah this one is difficult too. It took me some time to beat but I’ve always been pretty good at timing so I cleared this one with only 1 or 2 deaths. #2: the…. Big Man fight? Big man was REALLY easy. Even without radar, you can kill him in less than ten seconds. None of the bombs are a problem because he only ends up shooting torpedoes near the end which you can break easily. #1: where do I start…. Stage 1: easy. Stage 2: annoying, but fair Stage 3: easy Stage 4: misery God stage 4 gives me ptsd. The special spam made me really angry because the Octolings are coded to throw their special at ALL costs. They will ALWAYS do their special, no matter what. I tested, and octolings will literally die just to throw down wave breaker. The special spam was the WORST, and I only won because the octoling ai missed their shots when I was about to die. I’m never doing that hell again, I’m glad it’s over

To be honest, After Alterna wasn't that hard until the last section, which really just required patience and confidence. It only took me a couple hours at most to beat it, all while in a car ride where the motion controls were all whacked up too

I dunno what you’re talking about saying After Alterna is harder than inner Agent 3, cuz I’ve beaten it at least thrice at this point. And inner Agent 3 gave me such a beating it gives me ptsd, and I’m never gonna revisit it again. After Alterna is fun as hell though

the Octoling section of After Alterna is easy. Just spam specials until you get to the Zipcaster, where 2 free armors spawn.

I recorded and posted me doing after alterna again and i did so bad then i did the first time and i hit my leg like 8 times during that process o-o

Just started the game and decided the first thing i was doing was marathoning story mode, doing all stages with all weapons. It's interesting that our hypothetical lists are very different. I'm particularly shocked that Those Aren't Birds with the Squiffer wasn't on here. I did struggle with the dualies a bit as well, but that's just because I'm really bad at the dodge roll. The squiffer was the REAL menace. Hardest level for me save After Alterna. Time Trials and Errors you can actually fuck up on quite a bit as long as you get the first half down clean. My winning run was surprisingly messy! It's also at least fast to restart and retry. Meanwhile Those Aren't Birds requires borderline perfection, especially in the last segment due to the fakeout ending. If I was to give my personal list. Spaces between entries indicate a huge jump in difficulty level: 10) Splitting Crosshairs - Splosher 9) Bet You Mist Us - In General, shout-out to Splatana Stamper. It lost points once I learned you can cheese the encounter after the midpoint (the hardest one due to its tight space) by staying on the grate platform and attacking below you. 8) That Sinking Feeling - Carbon Roller. The one level that ACTUALLY gave me a panic attack. Find this much harder than the mini splatling due to its low range unless you spend extra time to do a jump slash. Also mini is my baby and I will not stand for this slander. 7) Conveyor Belt Tightening - In General, shout-out to Flingza Roller 6) Enter the Stamp Gauntlet - Unarmed 5) One Way Ride Through Target Town - In General, shout-out to Tri-stringer. Really its just the stupid, non-intuitive ending + the lack of checkpoints. Legit had to look up how to do it, would never have guessed it wanted you to jump off on my own. That and for Tri-stringer specifically it can be hard to deal with the high box stack. The rest was easy. It gets most of its points for being frustrating. 4) A Compulsive Collector's Paradise - E-Liter 3) Time Trials and Errors - Squiffer 2) Those Aren't Birds - Squiffer 1) After Alterna... But almost entirely because of the first section. Honestly the octoling fight is overrated in terms of difficulty, you have a lot of room and can easily spawn camp them. The only hard part is the ending when they get specials. Meanwhile the first section takes eons and has no checkpoints. Its gotta be at least a good 10 minutes to clear that part alone. Everything else was quick and easy by comparison.

Unpopular opinion: Those Aren’t Birds with Classic Squiffer and Time, Trials, and Error with Classic Squiffer are just as hard, if not, harder, than After Alterna. If you couldn’t tell, I hope that Target levels and Classic Squiffer won’t ever be in the same sentence ever again

I know I’m late to seeing this video. At 13:07, as someone that had beaten Inner Agent 3 the first time after over 2 years (I raged quit a lot of times [and lost count of how long I tried to beat it), but still wanted to do it because 100% to sometimes 1,000% completionist), I’d say Inner Agent 3 is harder than After Alterna. I’m not saying it was easy for me to beat this level, but I believe it only took me like 2 to 3 hours to beat it (the first and last stage/part of the level gave me the most trouble).
