Whomever designed the sounds the AirTags and AirPods emit is an idiot. Why would you have it simulate an echo to make it incredibly hard to locate when you are right next to them. The echo makes the tag seem like it’s in another location reflecting off walls. Tiles are sooo much better. Louder, distinct chime, 400-foot range.
