This song used to bring me warm comfort, I would reach for it like it was in the medicine cabinet. Now it reminds me of the hours of night I held my second child in the hospital room when she first came into this world.
Thanks for sharing! It's really lovely. That piano bit near the end was really nice to sit with. Listened after work while drinking blackberry ice tea.
Mnay thanks..... I tend to eventually get bored with pieces of music and move on to something else, rarely to return but, for Eno's ambient work, this hasn't happened. It stays forever fresh for me at least.
Interesting...I looked it up on Spotify and while track one (Neroli) is available, New Space Music is locked. Hmmmm! Looks like I'll have to buy the cd.
You can also find it for free on archive.org! I made a site dedicated to places you can listen to it for free ; I will remove Spotify and Bandcamp from the list, as it seems Bandcamp is similar in locking New Space specifically.
I have been listening to this piece of music again and again for years. I have rarely heard a piece of music that sounds so soft, friendly, loving and tender. I am sure that Eno made this music to do something good for himself and for us.
I put this album on a half an hour before the eclipse apex. Sublime experience from start to finish. Perfect accompaniment to Celestial Wonder in contemplation of the universe and our place in it
Ok I've listened to this so many times now, under multiple uploads. Its one of my favorite pieces of music. But can someone explain why every time its uploaded it has clipping and digital artifacts? I wonder if this is due to the constant ripping and reuploading process? Or maybe its there in the original?
@@ancientwinds Unfortunately some of the quality was lost upon reupload, as I was trying to get around copyright strikes. It seems like these strikes have since calmed down, as high quality uploads have made it back to RUclips, and have stayed around. I can't speak for others, but the quality may be like that for similar reasons. Personally, I recommend Kai's upload of the song, posted about a year ago. The sound is really deep and rich in that particular video. You can also find the song on archive.org and bandcamp.

Apparently this is a real Brian Eno song, but for some reason it's not on Spotify. Which makes me glad that I don't work for Spotify because that means at the end of the day, I'll still be safe and healthy and in my own bed.
My advanced sampling and synthesis professor played this and it brought me over here. This is so calming and relaxing. No negative thoughts shall enter my mind
No hay como hacer cosas absurdas, enseguida te elevan a un pedestal. Para relajarme prefiero oír a Mozart o a Beethoven. Esto es una tomadura de pelo, Brian Ferry sabía lo que hacía.
I was inspired by Eno to record an ambient piece recently. “Nest” by Thommy Underhill. On all streaming services and on RUclips if you search it. Just wanted to share with other fans of minimal ambient music.
Hey guys if you see this, just know that we’re gonna make it :) for now close your eyes and forgot about everything for a bit, unclench your jaw, roll your shoulders take a deep breathe and listen ❤
To resonate with these tones is my favorite state of mind. May I also recommend Watermusic by William Basinsky or Jchm-Zngn by Jochem Paap. It has the same effect on me.
This is amazing after endless rain videos that eventually seem too loud even on low. Thank you so much. I wish I had heard of Brian Eno earlier. Just brilliant.
IIRRIISS
шедевр....как и музыка для аэропортов 1978...создавалось без всяких компов и программ!!!
What is the name of this song? I want to dig deep about how he created it. I want the hard copy. Its Magick.
It's not a classical music. It's other thing. An ambient or ambient music.

Eno is the best.
when nothing else works, I come back to this piece. soothing in a very relaxed way, kind of luring me into it
Tracklist?
unfathomable
Когда слушаешь этот трек, всё ощущается таким лёгким и воздушным... Будто бы плывёшь по течению в космосе
Beautiful
A ten hour loop of this would be rad
Grateful the algorithms brought you my way!

It's very different, but listen to Rainy Day Raga by Peter Walker.
I put this album on a half an hour before the eclipse apex. Sublime experience from start to finish. Perfect accompaniment to Celestial Wonder in contemplation of the universe and our place in it
Zero words but tons of feelings...

Ok its definitely not in the original as I just cross referenced. I wonder if youtube just cant handle the phat mix

This is the soundtrack of my mind.

It's the extra track on the Neroli expanded edition album.
@@ricadus The expanded edition is not on Spotify. That's fine, I don't need to help them pay towards medical and funeral expenses.

Do you remember some of the stuff he had to say about it ? would be nice to hear.
I would say this was Innovative but Tangerine Dream was doing music at least a decade before him. I would say they created the ambience sound
I hadn't heard of them before... Rubycon is a great album so far, giving it a listen now. Thank you for sharing!

Great toast and tea music
This is the only type of music I can listen to while studying
I don't have to read any of your life stories, if I don't want to.
This is to ambient what "Eruption" is to guitar solos. In a really good way.
Jeez. Just love mr eno. Helps me forget.

It's a long way from "Baby's on Fire"; what an amazing, creative talent.
