I read Ivypool's Heart not too long ago and honestly I was crushed. This was one of the first GOOD Super Editions Warriors has really had for... well, years, honestly. Which is a miracle, considering it was a traveling book lol
In all seriousness, this scene in question with the white stag that Ivypool and Rootspring encounter may be one of the most heart wrenching, but at the same time bittersweet, scenes in Warriors in a long time. Ivypool finally accepting her daughter's fate, sealed away for eternity in the one place that had tortured Ivypool for all her life, it's very poetic and something I feel this series needed as its saving grace.
