He saw the model T and wasted no time
I see a lot of comments of difference of opinion on the operator, its good to see an engineer moving and placing ladders but not before a adequate water supply. This is an apartment complex and water is crucial in this scenario, also there were no additional units on scene for a while so imagine if you have issues at the pump and you see your operator placing a ladder. Yes it seems lazy having a guy only at the pump be thats his job. Making sure pressures are good establishing a continues water supply protecting the guys inside. Also running on scene is a no. If he gets hurt then what? Trust your training not internet firefighters who never operated as an engineer.
How much water do you have in that truck?
Verdadeiros heróis
06:47 time of the nuke bomb
Why are we pumping in RPM?
@@spencersaul2086 it was not pumped in RPM
@ ah ok. Our controllers only show engine RPMs when it’s being pumped in RPM mode.
the video length is 9:11
wait.... since when does the US havbe the STORZ coupling ?
@@niklas8413 storz are very common here. At least in northeast Ohio
8:53 "Is that Magnesium? _PWOOMMPF_ "Oh yeah."
let me guess: someone tried to weld on a magnesium part
It's not the first video I watch where firefighters leave small flames in the areas they have already sprayed. Is there a reason for this? Like preventing flammable gas accumulation?
The focus is on the seat of the fire. Hot spots that are generally low risk for spreading.
@@RCFD-C-Shift Thanks! Does make sense. However, I got the impression (unskilled viewer) there was a fuel container and battery standing close. It was a nice change to see fire fighter fighting a fire.
Come on and charge those lines dude.
@@BigWater59 the lines were immediately charged by one of the off camera guys as he was assisting the tip guy.
wheres all the female firefighters lol where them fire girls!😋
Really nice video, our new vehicles in Czechia have displays for pump control instead of manula like here, I wonder what is better as it seems better in gloves and probably more intuitive than going through screen menus
Did they use foam on that deck? Never seen anyone using foam in the us. Oh, and why that "Y split" on the hydrant?
We pump class A non AFFF foam on every fire using our CAFS engine. The Y was used because he couldn’t find a standard gate or ball valve.
@@RCFD-C-Shift Thank you for explaining!
ive fell down the firefighting yt rabbit hole, anyways, amazing job u guys :)
Why does that pump/truck sound like there’s something wrong with it?
@@gunney74 it’s a CAFS engine. It’s normal. The sound you’re hearing is the onboard air compressor.
I need a brake job... i need a new car.
Good afternoon. I am a firefighter from Russia. I often watch videos about the work of U.S. firefighters. I like the way you work. Tell me, do they always use a working sleeve line in the USA connected in advance from many sleeves, or is it possible to connect 2-3 sleeves in fact? After all, it is not always necessary to have such a long working line.
That 57 Chevy survives! A collector’s nightmare is a fire
Dont get under the car. As a 20 year firefighter i would of been more aggressive on the hose line
As a first responder i would go defensive attack
Dude's a badass! Cool video, great work! 🍻
Finally a fire video where the nozzleman knew what to do and he had FOAM......good on you guys, nice knockdown. Probably save that old car out front......
Firefighters are absolute tanks, amazing work
Your fast when you hop out of the truck
I dont mean to be critical, but Upon Entry on your right, there was a gasoline can, should they be soaked and removed from the site? because you were pretty comfortable standing next to it!
Is this Ravenna Ohio? I randomly came across this video! My cousins are firefighters for Akron! One of them being Captain!
To Believe means to be persuaded or convinced Jesus is the Christ Christ means Messiah/Savior Jesus Christ is the Son of God He Saves people from Everlasting Death He Died on the Cross, was buried, and Rose again on the third day. He Conquered Death for all Humans, no matter who they are or what they have done or will do. Salvation If you believe that Jesus is the Christ (Messiah), The Son of God, and that He gives you eternal life simply for believing in Him, you have eternal life (John 20:31; 1 John 5:1, 10-11). New King James Version John 6:47 Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 1 John 5:1 Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him Once Saved Always Saved John 6:37 All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out.
We had a trailer fire in are park this morning. My child hood dream was to be a firefighter. I got a little taste of it today. Now I’m going down a rabbit hole watching these vids Ty for the content and great hustle sir.
Smart move to use foam. Good work by the nozzle man.
dont waste time with a walk in door. that small of structure you have plenty of pressure and volume just stay at the opening until its knocked down. time is everything when a joining structure is next to it. and it keeps you in fresh air
The unsung heroes of the fire service, great engineers/apparatus operators! CAFS also makes the job easier by decreasing water usage and increasing hose stream extinguishment!
👌🙏🍀💯💪🚒👨🚒👩🚒🦺⛑️🧯❤️🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️ perfektné kolegovia hasiči 💯💪👌
My guy, you’re a hell of an engineer. Anyone who watches your videos can learn a lot about what good teamwork and situational awareness are at their best.
dont that foam cause canser
@@cableandchain no. This is not AFFF. This is Class A foam.
IS this a CAF system? Sure like what ever it is is really doing the WORK!
A couple 20 pound dry powder extinguishers will put out the metal fire! Great jjob though good aggressive attack!
hearing the demeanor of this guy was so refreshing. nice, clean, efficient work! It's also fun to watch the portion where the mandoor made sense until it didn't... perfectly encapsulates how to operate. "eh, screw it, ill just go in the garage door" nice knock and nice work
Fire, fire... FIRE!!! TF2 - Soldier
Why does he keep opening and closing the intake on the truck from the hydrant? Just trying to understand.
this is why you clean your shop up lol no wonder it caught on fire it has shit spread from asshole to elbow.
Nice work.
dont fight whats not on fire hit more so what is on fire
fire ruins all things very sad so messed up
Сухих рукавов,мужики!
What kind of camera setup are you using? This is great content. Obviously it’s not helmet cam so I’m just curious.
Chest mounted gopro
@@RCFD-C-Shift that’s what it looked like but I saw you had your coat on so I wasn’t sure.
Nice aggressive push by the first due engine. Made a good stop and kept their cool! Well Done!
Maximum respect for everyone in this line of work.
