I have a photoshop template I created for the text overlays and then select a number of stills from the video. I enhance the image by dodging and burning areas and saturating the colour. I then duplicate the layer and add a zoom radial blur and mask the handle bars out for clarity. RUclips now allows for AB testing of up to three thumbnails so I’ll select my three most preferred stills. They sometimes take longer to create than the video 🤣

It's real quick! It has more of an XC feel with rollable features but that doesn't mean it can't get gnarly at higher speeds.

Thanks Pete, I think I did better in practice but agree it's a tough field. Faster tyres may have helped and a bit more practice through the esses. I''ll make sure to come back before next year and practice more of the harder features. I just lack the local knowledge needed and think I can definitely improve on my times.

Thanks mate. Can’t say I perfected the 30, landing short a few times, but it did provide a better entry to that corner.

Thanks Nick, this was a pretty hectic one. Stayed dry during racing but it was a wet track for the weekend. Round 3 coming out soon.

It's not too bad but after riding Harcourt the day before it felt a bit long. I was feeling strong early on but tired toward the end. I was riding on two DH casing Assegais which didn't help. There's a few false summits where you feel like you're done but have further to go. It is a pleasant climb though and I believe you can self shuttle.

@@chrispratt8691 G3 would have the biggest but it’s just one. G2 has many more that are well built and so much fun

That's G3 at Creswick. Climb to the top of the first trailhead then follow G10 to the pentagram tree. You'll find the entry there.

It has been a long wait but I saw some posts on FB and IG yesterday that digging has finally started. It's been a long process and certainly not YR council's fault. They've been pushing hard to get this project off the ground from day one but have been held back by all sorts of other red tape. It's not the only trail network suffering delays with Creswick in the last week opening up after a long delay for them. Hopefully things will move quickly now but I'll believe it once it's complete. Hang in there, it'll be worth it!
