I dont even play carbon but the vanilla kit is so much funner with zipcaster, idk why people think its so bad. It has a combo with it for one and it also shoots fast allowing for quick ledge kill while allowing you to run Edit: i also really like a lot of these kits but i feel like some of the bad kits give weapons like undercover more interesting playstyles rather than just slapping on A tier and above subs and specials just because its bad. Also torpedo, fizzy, and burst on everything? I get people like those subs but it feels like almost every weapon got them.

originally i thought big swigs kit would be good with a splat bomb, but it would be miles better with a burst bomb. it has insane combo potential compared to any other bomb in the game, and it would be big swigs best sub weapon.

I disagree with wellstring, I think it should have both an aggressive and supportive kit. I like the point sensor and wavebreaker, but I think the screen kit is a little too underwhelming, I think it would be ok if it had a bomb, but I think toxic mist should be on a potential third kit with inkstrike or perhaps wail?

More videos like this would be super cool! Could breakdown video game levels, or more planets in Mario Galaxy. Great job keep it up man.

This is why I prefer Mario Galaxy 1 over it's sequel. Don't get me wrong, I love SMG2, but the galaxies of the first game were really charismatic, and I don't have this feeling in most Galaxy 2 galaxies

Overall I liked most of the kits, but seeing Aerospray cursed with Slider again broke me. I think I might be the only Battle Aero left.

I hope the next Splatoon game does something a bit different with its main music group. Maybe try their hand at a boy band

Really nice video, I subscribed! I found drip drop galaxy really eerie since the time traveling Penguru theory though The theory states that every galaxy is in a different time period. Penguru, enraged at being called old by one of the younger penguins, turns evil and becomes a mastermind. He builds buoy base, sends cosmic Mario (you can see him watch over you in Seaslide during the race there) and steals the gold shell. It also has a point of Coach being Penguru, but the theory has that as his breaking point

1:17 I actually liked the Galaxy for its music, but what made me see it dark was the Toad ship that crashed in the water right here, and we never saw a Toad in that Galaxy…

Drip Drop Galaxy is the only hungry Luma galaxy to have its own unique song. Every other hungry Luma galaxy uses music that can be heard multiple times throughout the game.

Its strange that its called dripdrop in english when in japanese its teardrop like the english word teardrop

Battlerock Galaxy is kind of neat. Despite being a fortress built from the side of space rock, it lays abandoned when Mario arrives. Who built it and why? Who knows.

My favorite aesthetic galaxy in mario galaxy 1. I did a whole art project based off it. I remember it leaving such an impact on me in 2012.

I never thought I'd get a video like this about one singular water planet in the middle of nowhere but I guess that goes to show how juicy of a game Mario Galaxy is Great video!

Maybe the hungry lumas can transform into galaxies or planets but every time they get hungry they transform back into a luma. Maybe the starbits have some sort of crazy secret power that allows lumas to transform, that would also explain Rosalina’s magic because she also ate starbits. Another thing is how most levels are called galaxies and how drip drop might be the only planet in an entire galaxy which is spooky. I doubt these small things were created with this much thought but I do think the game was created with the intent to spark your imagination so it’s fun to imagine possibilities.

Those eels are my childhood nightmare and i love throwing shells at them In all seriousness i really enjoyed watching this video, Mario Galaxy is such a very interesting game that's a fan favourite for a reason, and one of them is the amount of interesting things they done like what they did with Drip Drop

THANK YOU so much. Drip Drop was always one of my favorites for this exact reason, and I’m so glad it’s finally being acknowledged by someone else on the internet. My favorite galaxy though? Matter Splatter. And I feel like there’s *definitely* potential for commentary here.

The Adjective Noun of A Fucking Mario Level

The gringill infestation despite it being a planet just created is VERY reminiscent of the painting worlds in Mario 64. The Toad right in the lobby says that Bowser created a world of monsters inside the paintings (he says this in all versions), but in Bob-omb Battlefield one of the first dialogues is about how "the meadow has become a battlefield ever since Big Bob-omb" arrived, suggesting a peaceful world existed at some point prior. Which begs to question of why Bowser would bother creating a peaceful world and then have his minions invade it? Also why would he create worlds like Cool Cool Mountain which contain peaceful creatures like the penguins and hardly any hostile enemies? Very weird

It is a sad galaxy.

One more eldritch kind of interpretation of Luma's power is that they may even create people with false memories. Like the background story for Rosalina may just be her waking up after Luma created her planet and inserted false memories of her having a family... They bring stories to real life but cannot create past to support it.

The omphalose theory is spooky but seems kinda legit. Though, I imagined that while the Luma birthed the galaxy it actually sped up time within it, so those penguins "grew up" on that planet properly, just time was going forward so fast.

Can we also get a video like this but for Slimy spring galaxy, it’s never talked about but i think this galaxy’s atmosphere between its layout and music on top of the location shift to a scenic peak , once you reach the star, is top tier, and make this galaxy one of the most underrated/under appreciated.

Something about this game's atmosphere is so uniquely serene that I think, on a subconscious level, it has defined my own ideals and given me some of the best dreams I've had (basically just existing on a planet like Drip Drop). Great video btw. I'd love to see more like this 👍

I really wish this music would have returned even if it's creepy it's still pretty peaceful at the same time

I like to think of Drip Drop Galaxy and Bonefin Galaxy being sister galaxies, with Drip Drop being the "Tutorial" and Bonefin being the Boss fight using the mechanic of the level.

When I first visited this galaxy many years ago, I initially thought it took place in the far future. In fact, I assumed the penguin grandfather was the aged version of the penguin coach before i realized they were separate characters.

Amazing video and theory! Please do more like these! What are your thoughts on the crashed Captain Toad ship in Drip Drop? That always stood out to me as one of the most eerie details in the game. Every other time you see the ship you can see the Toad Brigade members nearby. But in this, it's just... empty. It's unsettling how you don't know their fate. It is possible the ship came there after the Galaxy was created (We don't know how long it takes Mario to fly from the Observatory to galaxies, and maybe the ship was in the area already). But it's unsettling how you don't see any of them. And what does it mean, since you see then alive and well in other galaxies? Another Galaxy to cover would be Flash Black Galaxy! It always seemed so eerie, and the silo in the background was really haunting. And does the map mean its revolving around a black hole?
