looks like a copy of Freightliner Cascadia 2018. Hope they fixed annoying adaptive Volvo cruize control and those pathetic loud wipers. Finally some space for phone mount.

Volvo designer should be fired. This looks like it was designed by someone who has never been in a truck before.

I was excited about this all-new Volvo until I found out they no longer come with the Cummins ISX. This means it’s finally time for a business divorce with Volvo. My first truck was a Volvo with a D13 engine. It never made any money and nearly drove me to bankruptcy. After that, I owned a couple of good Volvos with the ISX. The D13 engine is bad for business and don’t let the MPG savings fool you. From my past experience, I don’t repeat my mistakes. Good luck.

I was considering one, but nah I'll stick to my 04 9900. Not a fan of all the electronics and issues Volvos are know for along with overpriced parts and service. I'll stick to getting my next truck from the used truck market. All of these new trucks are nothing but headaches.

I am from Croatia. With the air conditioner working while the truck is turned off in Europe, we've had that for 15-20 years

Too heavy and expensive

I don't like the outside of the redesign. Can't get with the neon trim. I do like how they redesigned the bed and still kept the table. Though the seats aren't as wide but like it. I definitely like how the AC or heat can be ran without the truck running. I believe the truck will start itself once it detects the batteries get low. So I'm wondering how long does this last but that's a great setup to not have to spend money on an APU.

In EU Volvo has 8 air bags on the rear axles since 90s. And obviously you can have two air bags also on the front axle (and the new FH16 Aero has the most powerfull truck engine on the market with 780hp) However this new VNL is beautiful and seems to have great aerodynamic.

The older fuel tanks will still most likely have the full cap in the same place as before if you are planning on using a tripak

I have always liked the table setup in those trucks. Better on the back than sitting on edge of bed

That’s not AC without the truck running. That’s a blower. You will need an APU to have true AC without the truck running.

Looks pretty similar to the KW AG400 8 bag suspension. Lot more stable on uneven ground and off road but, I wouldn't dare take this truck off pavement with how low it's sitting.

NO. None of those compartment redesigns are “cool”. They are ridiculously stupid. Why do i want open shelves with a net and have to look at all my food all the time. Horrible design and that neon safety yellow is fugly. I’ll keep my 2024 860.

Perfect truck for an idiot driver. You know, immigrants and recent CDL recipients. What do they both have in-common ? - they cannot maneuver a real truck. Volvo tried to play with the big boys with their VT series and failed miserably. Hence, they’ve been nothing but garbage ever since…

Just curious, how hard would it be to install a small shower where one of the cabinets is? I would rather have that and have single bed and use top bunk section for storage.
