ey bro after observing your WIP animation at 2:15-2:20 of the pilot entering the mech I thought to myself: "What else CAN the mech do during this animation time once the Pilot is left to Clamber into the Hull of the Mech? Why does it show up and then just, turn off while it's being climbed?" This proposed "second half" of the animation could serve as a prompt for the mech to then act on "arming" their weapons as a way to "prepare to be piloted". Perhaps Warning Lights that activate on Mechs whenever they are Nearby A Pilot As A OSHA style Working Hazard Light. Could also introduce a siren or even alternative animation for commandeering another player's mech like the mech fighting back and failing (with a quick time event even perhaps) Anyway good luck with your game! Add VR!
