Have the morons in this video never heard of a crane? If you aren't able to get the proper equipment for the job, then you *aren't able to do the job*, and attempting to do so is an enormous, avoidable, moronic risk.
People gotta understand yes it's an 8000 lb plus machine sure it can lift a lot but when your weight is so high in air you can't pick up as much... use common sense and know your equipment.
I agree. check the load capacity of the forklift first and the weight of your load. Just to be sure it's safe. There is a plaquet on the forklift with all the numbers about loading capacitiy. I would lift the load a bit and drive the truck backwards under the load. It's much safer. Keep the load always as close as possible to your forklift while lifting.
Forklikft capacity is often stated as a weight, but it is actually a torque or moment. The convention would be something like 4,000 pounds at 2 feet from face of forks. If the center of mass of the load is 4 feet out, that goes to 2000 pounds. If you're lifting a standard 4 foot long pallet, your 4000 pound lift will handle a 4000 pound pallet. When you start handling stuff that's longer than that, or for some reason you have to lift it farther out, you have to take that into account. If you're close to maximum capacity, tilting forward is a bad idea.
fuck that.
This just reached my suggested feed 2022 lol
if you must, then use both forklifts, one either side of the load, pick it up and then reverse the vehicle under it.
Morons
Should have just drove the truck under the tank once lifted instead or driving the forklift with the tank to the truck.
i wouldn't have thought of that, genuinely.... gg
Just lift up sit still and move the truck under
Happens to the best of us!
No,the worst.
Its flattened the back tyre....30 min crashed killed some one on the motor way. All idiots!!!
Jeeze mate, put the tank on a pallet. A forklift is not a crane for obvious reasons.
*OSHA wants to know your location*

where's tilt-in procedure before loading?
Dumb ass people are ever where. As construction contractor, I would not allow just any one to operate.

All these idiots would flunk a basic physics class.
LUCY YOU GOT SOME SPLANEN TO DO. 0 RICKY😣😣😣

No, just operators with brains !

Yep too high too heavy and fully tilt forward. glad nobody get hurt in the (prosess)
That fork looks no bigger than a 2.5t one No way in hell its a 8000pounds fork. Thats about 3.7t ish.
this is the most stupid "stunt" I have ever seen.
Is there an un- obvious reason that the picking lines are so long and out near the end of the forks and the boom is tilted forward?
