Any plans to do a Reformation Study Bible (KJV) with larger fonts for older people? Would help a lot if the Bible's text font was at least 11 pt. (12 would be better) and the note font no less than 10 pt. I know several seniors who would love a Bible like this one.

So glad the AV gets the love a respect it deserves. This study Bible is a gift to the church- purchase it and learn its wonderful lessons and pray for the salvation of your children.

Has this KJV bible text been modified? I’m looking for a good quality leather bound KJV with language from the 1800’s not modern day language as that defeats the purpose of it. The NKJV has changed the language and I have that already. I have a KJV from 1611.

I have deeply appreciated Michael Barrett's Old Testament commentary in particular.

I've always understood the pilgrims and the Puritans to be two different groups of people with different worldviews so how does this book Puritan theology differ from the book Pilgrim theology

This study Bible is my favorite. The Reformed perspective and the inclusion of Puritan era insights are so wonderfully written and communicated. It emanates and encourages a love and warmth for God - to truly understand how much we are loved by God and to love Him deeply in return. I thank God and The Reformation Ministry and their contributors for this wonderful work!

A little research into the Puritans will lead you to wonder if any of them are in heaven. Cutting off ears, branding people, and starving and hanging women is their history. I had no idea that was the case, but after my research, I question any theology they put forth.

One The largest heretic and blastphemor of the all the clavinist. This man would immediately rebel against the Purtians. They are the islam of Christianity. Why not just read the bible...."alone".

Thanks for sharing! I am currently listening to some good old puritans. John Owen, Jonathan Edwards and others. If that doesn't warm your hearth, maybe there is problem with your hearth. So true! We can hold on to promises, if we are genuinely born again, it will give us strenght to carry on. The complete fulfillment of the promises awaits us when we meet up with our Saviour Jesus Christ in Heaven to be with Him for all eternity! So I am learning to be content with what I have now concerning my earthly well being for the most precious promises are about our salvation and conformaty to the likeness of Christ 2. Peter 1:3-11🙂

I just recently purchased this Bible from Amazon and it looks nice and it's big....the really major downside to this Bible is that it holds to the completely unbiblical Amillennists view of the End Times in Daniel and the book of Revelation....other than that it's not a bad Bible. If it presented the Pre-Tribulation Pre-Millennial view which is the ONLY view that Scripture supports beyond any doubt it would be an acceptable Bible.

This study bible doesn't always contain what you want, but always what you need. You want maps and pictures and charts. But what you get is life changing exposition, articles and challenging content. By far, the best.

Mark Jones has promoted a doctrine of Justification by faith plus works (so openly that one Presbyterian scholar cautioned him against becoming Norman Shepherd 2.0). In case anyone is wondering, that's called false teaching.

I totally want to read this book.

I couldn't agree more--I owe everything to RHB and absolutely nothing to the utterly useless and spiritually dead OPC in Crystal Lake, Illinois which idolizes Timothy Keller. I thank God for leading me to RHB, which I never found through the useless OPC when I was newly converted from a lifetime of Roman Catholicism.

This Bible (and I have many...) is my absolute favorite! It is perfect for personal devotions, for family worship and for sermon preparation. I praise and thank God for the work that went into this study Bible!

What I love about this study Bible is the clear Reformed stand in every notes, sections and introduction to every book. Plus, it challenges you to reflect and gives you clear application of the Word as a Christian who is a reformed or reforming. Request to the publisher, I hope that the paper is thick, like in Crossway's Gospel Transformation SB. KJV is a perfect Bible for a Reformed Christian.

This is a beautiful Bible. It really does open the meaning of the Word in a way that helps me understand passages in a new light. I am so grateful that this in my collection. I pray that the KJV translation will become easier for me to understand. Great study Bible. I have the reformation study Bible by ligonier, ESV student, and the heritage study Bible. All are good study bibles but I find for the KJV beautifully written and makes us expand our vocabulary. The family devotions at the end of every chapter are also amazing and my wife and I read every night chapter by chapter.
