RE Custodes presence at/after the Devastation of Baal: I'm pretty sure that the lore explicitly has Guilliman always followed by an escort force of Custodes ever since he came out of the Emperor's throneroom and assumed the title of Imperial Regent; he should have at least a couple around with him while he's on Baal, even if the narrative doesn't mention them. Either that, or they were on standby aboard his flagship during that time.

Actually, as a viewer, I would prefer if you went into HtP fresh, without lore knowledge. The show itself reveals the lore as it goes on. The show itself builds the world up, sharing the viewer's perspective. Ultimately, it's up to you, but some of the lore knowledge could even count as spoilers for the show, if that makes sense. Edit: Hell, the audio drama episodes are basically lore videos. Anyway, hope it didn't come off too entitled. I just want you to enjoy it as much as possible.

2:34:38 As much as I absolutely love TTS, this is exactly why I felt and still feel that discontinuing the series was for the best. I've seen MANY franchises I love refuse to end, often to the point of having everything they stood for and what was loved about them be changed, bastardized or completely torn out, leaving a husk. I'd rather see TTS end while maintaining it's loving fanbase and its own soul rather than see GW contort it into something it was never meant to be. Obviously the true best outcome would be if GW never enacted those policies against fan content, but we all know GW too well to ever see that happening.

TTS was DELAYED because of the kid. It was ENDED because Gamesworkshop was copyright claiming a bunch of stuff, and Bruva got scared they were going to hit him. They didn't, but they could have, and by then he'd already moved on. My guess is he's playing it safe and just not continuing it.

The difference between boob armour and codpieces is that codpieces aren't generally considered an obvious tactical disadvantage. Boob armour tends to direct blows toward the center of the sternum, weakening that point, and injuring the wearer. Now of course it works in 40k, because since when did the Imperium use smart tactics? Not to mention the armour was designed by Vandire to partially be titillating, because he was awful. It makes sense there.

If they are reduced to 0 wounds while it's active, they skip the explosion roll and automatically detonate. And every time I see that ending, all I can see is the Emperor, when he was alive, cradling his near-dead son in his arms, crying in the rain.

Glad you gave it a chance, and that you enjoyed it, it was a splendid blending of older editions of 40k and lore with the then newer material. I like to think the original owners and creators of GW and 40k would have been very supportive of fan created works that rope in a broarder audience.

I love WoD and HtP, they are both worth getting into and i think you would really enjoy Hunter the parenting. even if ya don't stream it.

What happened was that because of the Commander's Quick thinking in Ordering the Troops to Mask up with Bandages soaked in Water, about 100 Men had Survived long enough to Fight back and Repel the Advance completely while still Coughing up blood and parts of even their lungs). The Latter video is all about the Death Korps of Krieg. There's Also Janovich's Series on the Siege of Vraks as well as the Prelude that was the Krieg Civil War, The Battle of Ork's Drift and even Events surrounding the Horus Heresy, nevermind the Memed Fight the Black Templars had with the Slaneesh Worshipping Furries.
