The original air box pulls cold air from the wheel well and avoids all hot air from the enging bay. So this is just silly, adding an intake that no longer pulls from where the coldest air will be and pulls from where the engine's heat will be. NOTE: This one you put on is a short ram intake, not a cold air intake. An actual aftermarket cold air intake has a longer pipe and funnels down towards the ground.

Don’t get this intake if you don’t want a CEL code for your MAF sensor annoying tf out of you 🧍

Mine redlines to 7k. A 2021 Ford EcoSport 166hp. Isn’t as fast, I'm sure. A lot of weight to lug around. Around 3,400 lbs through an AWD system. Gets 20.9 mpg with steel wheels on snow tires in purely city driving. Gets 22.4 (city) on the stock 17' alloys. I never drive highway/freeway. No life to go far.
