This is so brilliant. You can see Todd acting a little confused by people shouting "boo". I wonder if he knew that boo meant good? I like the whole back story that leads up to this event. 4x4 Garage music had long been superseded by 2 step and grime. However, a revival was taking place on the internet, the Uptown Records forum! The 4x4 revival grew to a point where people could put on this event. It was a great little niche scene / community where everyone debated and shared their tunes and mixes online. You could literally send EZ an MP3 of your home made track via MSN, and he'd play it out on his radio show on Kiss FM the next day! I used to go to the gas club to watch EZ, and the moment a Todd tune came on, I'd do my very best to dance like an absolute frantic idiot, to show my respect to the God, LOL

This sound absolutely summed up London from 97-2003, I was there, I saw it, I felt it UKG was a total British phenomenon that TE totally got 🙏🏼

It would be packed even on a Wednesday and Thursday night in its day. Also Yates, Hollywoods, Edwards, Secrets would alsi be packed. It's a complete ghost town now, even on a Saturday night. It's not just Romford tho, the younger generation don't seem to go out all that much. Too busy staying in taking photos of themselves for wanky likes on Instagram.
