@@reecewatson5311 well that’s what I thought it was but when I took the seats back out to put insulation and carpet in I found a 22 gauge wire by the airbag controller under the center seat that wasn’t connected, was intermittently grounding on the bare metal, but that one little wire was the whole issue, Haven’t had an issue out of the truck since, not even a check engine light

@@reecewatson5311 I didn’t put it on the dodge frame because it was a gooseneck ball back there

@@reecewatson5311it’s on a 2010 ram 2500 frame now but I still have the c60 frame sitting out back, it was a 292 inline 6 with 4 speed and 2 speed rear end. Had a 14 foot flat bed with a dump cylinder. It was an interesting experience to drive that old thing, brakes were terrible, I remember hitting the brakes and they went all the way to the floor and I went straight thru an intersection on a red light

@@reecewatson5311 I think only like 4-5 inches, I changed it up three different times before I finally decided. The outer piece, I made 1 7/8 to match the pillars on the doors, I moved the front side of b pillar back about an inch to get the windows closer together

@ kind of, I didn’t video back then but I have pictures. I’m putting together a video of pictures from when I first cut up the two trucks for the crew cab. I built the orange truck in 2018 so only a few pics from back then

@@reecewatson5311 orange truck is on 99 ram 2500 and blue one is on 2010 ram 2500, and I’ll have to check that car show out for sure

@MonsterCustomFab-Hotrods Thank you for the info. I want one in 4 wheel drive. Use it to haul logs for my saw mill. The second one 4 wheel drive as well. I have some different ideas for the back doors though. I have 2 boys, they need room when we travel, thinking about making a divider between them with a mini TV on both sides and a DVD player. Maybe, I could get Elon Musk to figure out a way to put Starlink into the truck for web use while traveling LOL. That Petit Jean car show is twice a year. It's at the Petit Jean State Park north of Little Rock Arkansas. They have camp grounds and cabins and hotels close by. The swap meet has like 10 acres generally full of parts, cars and trucks for sale. An automobile museum takes all day to get through it.

@ sounds like a cool car show, I’m gonna plan on going to the lone star throw down in February. I have plans to build another crew cab in the 67-72 body style next

@MonsterCustomFab-Hotrods I just had a thought. Do a C60 crew cab on a Yukon frame lowered. Turbo charge the LS motor all wheel drive with the Yukon interior. After you finish the main part of the truck, take it to Houston to the company that GasMonkey took its Sema truck to then have to glass top put into it.

@@reecewatson5311 c60s are a good old school work horse, Blue truck was a flat bed with a dump cylinder, 292 and four speed and two speed rear end. Drove it like that for a bit before I cut it up

@@MonitorOpsandExotics I have it unbolted from the solenoid by the passenger battery, so no current gets to it when it cycles, but aftermarket intake coming soon as well as the “weight reduction” on the exhaust manifold

@@MonsterCustomFab-Hotrods no faux tina……go with nice blue paint…. Its a modern truck so i needs to look nice and shiny….if it was a cobbled together death trap then patina would be more fitting…..but that thing deserves a proper finish!!!

⁠@@trentdawg2832😂 agreed sir, I also considered that burgundy/maroon color that some of the 16-18 duramaxes are but prolly blue. Long time ago when Dad and I built the single cab black truck, we bought blue paint for it but it never got done due to the wreck, I still have that paint sitting, painted my beer fridge that blue color, might be able to see that in some of the videos, I’d have to get more, not enough to do a full crew cab long bed

@@MonsterCustomFab-Hotrods yea my father had a ‘66 swb fleet c10 back in the 90’s that was a retired drag trug turned show truck…it had a wild 90’s style paint job scallops and all…..i miss that truck but i miss that man even more!!!…..paint it blue, do your father a solid!!!!

@@RobertSnedigarthanks and me too, I’ve figured out a way to by pass it and that is good enough for the time being, I drove it 40 mins one way to a car show Saturday and didn’t have any problems out of it, it’s getting there

@@MrFlashHandy it’s a 2010. My other 2010 had some intermittent egr code to but it runs fine, the can bus communication is the problem. It’s intermittent on the crew cab, sometimes it’s there sometimes it’s not. Im trying to handle other things on the truck for the time being, tracking down some intermittent electrical problem is gonna be a pain in the SS. Especially since I don’t have an oscilloscope
